  • i just got a video of 4119 crossing rt.21

  • I'm pretty sure those are Comet Is. Look at this video njt 4111 over the Shark River. Those are Comet IIs.

  • they are indeed comet-I's - nothing more to discuss.

  • Wow Comet 2 on the 2nd train that's col

  • I could be sadly mistaken, but those look like comet-Is to me. Just not the low-door "slider" version.....

  • Those are definitely Comet Is. The Comet IIs look much different now, fat black stripe like the Comet IVs.

  • also aren't the comet-Is the only ones that didn't get the "automation" with digital signs and GPS announcements in in the cab cars, etc....

Also another question - I notice the comet-Vs have the sanders, are they the first push-pulls so equipped?

  • Wow Comet 5 Set Great

  • The horn on that Comet I was much better!

  • Excellent stuff Josh - next time I get down to Ho Ho Kus, I have to get to that x-ing.

  • great video, that 4115 and that trainset has been kept together for who knows how long. Normally a engine gets taken off a set of cars when 1 car needs repair

  • Great catch of the Comet 1s!

  • yeah and with a frigin sweet conrail horn too!

  • Yes I agree!

  • That ALP44 is sharp!

  • the engine on the first train, the 4021, thats a PL42, not an ALP. The ALP's are electrics.

  • oh my bad

  • no worries bud, glad you tuned in for this one - NJT still has enough variety to keep my attention!

  • MORE HORN NEED MORE HORN!!!!! good shit man.
