  • Loving your work. You are lucky to have so many synths - I've just been allowed to get ONE synth (an Alesis QS8) - I use a sequencer though, so I can "pretend" to have more synths :P

  • how could anyone possibly dislike this?

  • You have all the respect. Very close to the original version and extremely good improvisation. It's definitely not an easy one to play and I'm sure you go only by your ears with it, unless you managed to find a music sheet which I doubt. Keep up the good work :).

  • Wow, I can't believe you covered the gem on an otherwise forgettable album. This song is on par with some of V's best. I like your version without the monologue.

  • waouhhh ! this is wonderfull !!! I like it and I like your sounds ! congratulations !

  • Great music !

  • Really nice, like your performances.

Good sound and especially the fine pads of your choice.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • Great Song, Great Album, Vangelis is a Genius!!

  • you are parallel with this music,You have much to eat before you get on Vangelis

  • I just say: great ... i enjoy it!!! 5***** :-))

  • I'm sitting here with my mouth open. The way you play it, it sounds better than the original! Really! I have tears in my eyes. Thank you my friend! ;-)

  • Great work. Makes me think I should hang on to my ESQ1 and replace the dead battery. Thanks.

  • Wooooow. Incredible..... Very good. The spirit of the original one is there....

  • Very nicely done. Incidently what do you make of He-o and its lyrics. I kind of visualise it , though an atheist , as Jesus has returned to earth and come to visit (you) he liked sinners company as was his want of old. But you were out and missed him. He - o

  • bravo!

  • great performance your life is your own!

  • Never tire of listening to this.

  • I got the original kinda different, lyrics are missing

  • Nice work, Enjoyed again!

  • Fantastic!

  • you should use more Analog synthesizers. they sound better and have way more control with all the knobs and such. i just got my MiniMOOG voyager and omg you wont be disappointed :D

  • I have this album. Love it. Good job!!

  • I cant stop listening to this it's amazing. Please if you do requests please have a try of Chung Kho from his album China

  • Amazing performance!!!10/10

  • I think you loved doing that!

  • Very unworldly indeed, and I enjoy listening to this music A LOT.

  • moving... what a big passion gives...

  • epic... and ... beyond!! :)

  • Hi mik300z, you are more than good..

  • Are you using your ESQ-1 as a master keyboard for the Juno-G? And that melody sound is a jamisen? It sounds a little different though on the original album. I have been wondering what instrument it is...

  • Excellent video and performance!! Source of inspiration!

  • I must say 'Earth" is one of my favorite all time New Age Albums.

I especailly like the First Track, "Come On" and the Tribal "Sunny Earth."

You did a wonderful artist's interpretation of the Second Track!

  • What more can be said? Wonderful! You're becoming prolific. As a non-musician, I am still baffled as to how you can play all those keyboards so effortlessly. (I can play music in my mind, I just wish I had your ability to bring it into the real world.) I'm a big V fan, as you know, but I do not own the Earth album. This makes me wants to buy it someday. Thanks again.

  • Thanks gary, Earth was given to me by a friend here on YT, no chance of buying a copy in any store unless you live in greece and even then you would be lucky! As for my keyboard ability......3 rules.

    1. stay within my limits

    2. If i hit a bum note-keep going

    3. If i hit too many bum notes ...improvise, or start again:)!!!!!

  • @VideoCloud if you like so much music, you should study and learn, doesn't matter how old just practice and you'll see, is worthy, this is the only life you have now.

  • FANTASTASIC!!!!

  • wicked

  • Perfect, as usual ... whatever you play ! Still hope to meet you one day !

  • what can i say.... i'll just bow. 5*

  • thanks friend! you're too kind:)

  • sympas, cette reprise originale, le matos super !! a+

  • Thankyou!! Greetings from Ireland

  • Very good and awesome sounds. Love the camera angle. very inspiring performance

  • excelent!!!

  • Wow, very cool. You are moving in the right direction. CD #2 comming soon. I cannot wait. 5*****

  • Lol Matt, cheers:) Tell you one thing, the drums/percussion from the akai are already improving the sound quality..i.e.I don't have to put the Juno G in multi mode to get it's drums and mess up the effects on each part .

  • i love the ESQ-1. good sounds and perform

  • AWESOME mick!

fantastic cover and the sounds are great

  • Thanks marco, def. a retro feel going on here!

  • Great work.

  • utterly fascinating

  • i dont know if you've ever told anyone, but how did you get started doing this fantastic synth stuff?

this is exactly what I want to do in the future.

  • cheers! doing it as a hobby about 15 years....oh, and there are 6 synths:) Thanks for the kind comments!

  • thnx, much appreciated.

  • how many synths do you have total mik?

  • GREAT again.

I have this album and I like this song. :-)

  • Great atmospheric piece again Mick 5****

And congrats on your Plastic Stars as well, glad to see you loving your new studio setup . Job well done my friend ;)

  • Thanks Dave! got loads of time lately, summer weather is terrible over here. Wind, rain and cold....perhaps this video is a reflection of that:)

  • Well Mick, here in Belgium it's quite the opposite: I've not been able to do much in the studio, because it's in the attic, and the weather hasn't dropped below 30°C over here in a month (so in my attic, it's now near 40°C!) I hope the weather cools down real soon, cuz I'm dying to try out some new stuff, but it's just too frigging HOT right now :)

  • Did you move from your attic to a lower level? BTW, we had that very weather pattern the entire month of July. Also I always wondered why Roland put the Jamisen sound in all their gear, must be for all the Vangelis fans. ; )

  • nope, still in the either freezing cold or stifling heat of the attic!

  • That is how my basement is... ughh!!

  • Very nice!

  • Michael,you are the best..!Fanthastic!5*****!

  • Thankyou Korgator, much appreciated!!:)
