Hi Crawfish Do you have a 5c1 or Gibson ga5 amp. All are very similar to the 5f1. If you could only have one in a 10" or 12" combination which would it be? How about speakers?

This seems like a lot more work than just building a kit. Even though I'm not going to do a rebuild like I originally planned, you helped me a lot. Some of the stuff in the thread was very interesting, even though I didn't understand half of it. If I did a true PTP wired Champ, would it still sound like a Champ? I'm going to use this with a Tele (obviously) and hope to get Rolling Stones and James Gang tones. BTW, I'm teletwang67 on the forum.

sweet i did the same thing almost i left the diod rectifier and run a 6l6gb sounds great also a waber 8 in alnico
