Great video! But my curls never stay in any longer that 15 mins! I have top of the range straighteners and i have really good hairspray have you got any tips on how to keep the curls in all day? You mentioned people only turning the iron once and then going straight down well it doesn't work for you because you pulling it down to fast. You have to go slower to make the curl tighter.

I think it would, but it'd be better if you had a thinner straightener (like 1 1/2 inch). If you had a bigger straightener, the curls would probably be bigger!

Now this is just what I heard, and have been told, that you'd have to bleach your hair, and dye it again with the color you want, or original. Now the thing is, if you bleach your hair it'll be really dry, and on top of bleaching you're dying it back to your natural color. I've heard it leaves your hair really dry and not very flattering. I think you should let your hair grow out, and I know that takes a while, but it's a lot better than putting lots of chemicals on it. Just a suggestion (:

Hey! :) My hair is naturally curly and quite thick. Is your hair straightner good? It looks like a CHI. Do you know how hot it gets? Because I normally use a CHI, but mine full on blew up on me, so I'm using a different one, but I don't really like it.

mine is an inexpensive, sort-of imitation of the CHI. its a GVP and it's from sally beauty supply and it heats up to 410 degrees farenheit. it cost $60-$70. it works for my hair but to be honest i hear the GHD is an awesome awesome straightener & better than the CHI. its very expensive though. if you need a cheaper version of the CHI i'd say go with GVP (i personally love it) or just get a new CHI :)

no problem! i believe it would be the same for girls with short hair, the curls of course would be shorter but you can control the length of the curls by how many times you wrap your hair around the straightener. so if you want a longer curl, only twist the straightener once (if that makes sense)
