Great tutorial Jann! Yes....mucky is a word....at least I use it a lot and at least a million or two Brits....I've spent copius amounts of time in the UK and it was one of the words that followed me home! Didn't know they had white rub 'n buff!!! Neat! My patina rub 'n buff burst open at the bottom!!! Brand new tube! ARgh! Off to make flowers!
Hey Kathy...thanks for stopping by... Oh NO -- and rub and buff is hard to get off stuff!
You know -- I probably picked up the word "mucky" from a roommate I had right after college. She was from Scotland -- and I have found that I possess several UK-based vocabulary words from our stint together. We had the BEST time....miss her now that she lives in another state!
These look so much fun!!! I am going to take your advice you gave me and try to make my own glimmer mist with the perfect pearls....I will let you know how it goes...thanks so much =)
Thanks Sharon! I don't know why I am drawn to "messy" things...but these are really fun flowers to "mess" with -- get some great music going in the backgrounds...and just sit down and make a bunch...it was almost therapeutic! *smile* Enjoy!
love these flowers & this technique - I love lollipop flowers - TH style roses - my fav "Velma" technique - now I'll be adding these to my minis & tags - TFS
These are so great and fun to make. I have been making these for a while now, a friend taught me this technique at a crop but using scalloped circle. Give it a try :) TFS
These flowers are so pretty and delicate looking. I loved all the extras you did to the flowers! Thanks for teaching us how to do this with a twist! Thanks, Coleen
Ok I will no longer buy flowers... I have collected tutorial after tutorial of flower making from paper to material ones and I have enough skills now in my arsenal to make my own....
Another fab tutorial :-) I really love making flowers, and faffing around with them to get different looks etc.. I'm going to give this one a try out tomorrow morning thanks again x
Oh do have a go at it....and show us what you come up with...I love seeing how everyone interprets the basic technique! Hope you have had a lovely weekend!
