i did not try any of this i just downloaded sbsettings and got my ipod touch 2g to 66mb all i just did when i disconnect it from my computer i always turn it off

Anybody who is having problems...I'm afraid you have to restore your iPod/iPhone:make sure it's turned off...then press the power button until the apple logo comes out and then press the home and power button until iTunes detects it in recovery mode and just restore! PS:jailbreak will be lost

this is a great tool, but im on the UK network 3 running jailbroken and unlocked iOS 4.2.1 (redsn0w, ultrasn0w 1.2 with ipad baseband 6.15) and this killed my 3g. shame. just a warning to anyone that might use this on new iOS and find a similar problem.

2 things. 1, thank you for the informational video, my ipod seems to be averaging around 11 megs instead of the usual 40 ish. ill tell you what i get after this lil app. 2nd, with SBSettings it tells you your WIFI IP adress, which is something no one can really use, seeing as most of them start with 192.168.2.# (my ipod is .3 whereas my sisters is currently .4)

@zerroskater maybe you have an iPod Touch 1G. Incredibly slow and really has no memory at all so you wouldn't see a difference.

@zerroskater Try hard resetting you device. Press and hold the home and power button for 10 seconds and then release the home button. Hold the power button for 3 more seconds and then release it. Wait for reboot... You're done.

@zerroskater No it would NOT put it in DFU mode. It would reset your device so that everything would run normal. DFU mode is very different from this... trust me. I know what I am talking about. Also, if your iPod doesn't even really run slowly, then you probably do not even need this tweak and do not need to take the risk and waste your time with it.
