  • just heard of him a minute ago from a friend... ever wonder what it was like to hear robert johnson, in person? Pity the recording methods were so poor in the short time before the devil took him home.

  • Keb'mo' playing "every morning" live is just one more reason YouTube is so great. Fantastic. So good to be livin' at such a time. Ty google, utube & keb'mo'.

  • this is going to b my wedding song

  • in memory of my ve´ry dear friend..... R:I:P:

  • This song is all I need. It reminds me of a very dear friend.....

  • This is a beautiful song and an amazingly simple rendition by Keb' el Mo'... Just genius... I play it always in my car... it enlightens me, it makes my day... Thank you Keb'!

  • this takes me back, not to make me feel good, but to make everyone else feel bad

  • Will always set me at peace when I'm down.

  • good lord ...when u can listen to a song 10 times in a row ..well somthin right happend there.. ya know!

  • @diminishedeighth I created a playlist that I listen to constantly myself LOL. I know what ya mean LOL

  • somebody should tab this

  • My ex-wife put me on with Mo's music and ever since i have not missed everything he has to offer, he is my greatest blues singers of all time. I was opportuned to see him live in Pittsburgh in his one man band and it was one of the best concert i ever saw.

  • 8 people have no feelings

  • In appearance, he reminds me so much of my grandfather who listened to the blues and played it on piano at home. (i miss my "dadd-dadd") *sigh*... Keb Mo's music is great and comforting. instead of saying 'mother's milk' its like 'father's coffee'. reminding me of the blues and my grandfather drinking coffee...

  • God, a few years ago all I could think about was not seeing Muddy perform and that all the great blues men were gone. How wrong was I. This is the real shit, right here. Thanks for posting.

  • your the best Keb.. you move me.. always have.. always will

  • I love just looking out of the window and watching the world go by to this music. :)

  • GRAN BLUSERO KEB MO....UN GRATO DESCUBRIMIENTO...

  • listen close boys and girls to the robert johnson of our time.

i saw keb in atlanta a few years ago and i can tell you it was without a doubt the greatest performance i have ever seen. if you get the chance to go dont miss it.

  • Keb Mo was born October 3 1951, he looks great for his age. It will be a sad day and a big loss when he dies. I hope he lives into his 90's. thanks for the upload. I love almost everything this man plays.

  • Why race comments at all, people? Just love the music. Music transcends it all. (Plus, if this were a white guy would there be comments on race?)

  • Wow Keb Mo is awesome. I love this song. Need to learn it!

  • Great song!

  • I <3 KEB MO <3

  • depuis otis reeding, j'avais jamais accroché sur d'autre voix noire....Keb Mo' me démontre le contraire, sa voix me transporte, le feeling ,tout, il a tout ,le swing aussi;;;

Quand est ce qu'il passe en France?

  • Counting the days until Mr. Moore gets to the Birchmere here in DC on October 27 & 28...

  • man, thats a black voice! wow

  • man, thats a racist comment! wow!

  • I didnt mean my comment as you seem to think. I just wanted to say that I like his black-coloured voice. OK?

  • Well it ain't no white voice brother. No white man got a voice sounds like dat. Take a chill pill man.

  • @catphoria I know a white guy that sounds just like him so you're fucking wrong there buddy, and obviously a racist, regardless of your color

  • How is it racist? To pretend that we're all gray-colored humans is more insulting than what spassgamer said. Blues is historically "black music", and black people oftentimes have a different way of speaking... It's something that spassgamer appreciates, and all lovers of Blues music celebrate.

  • @il1k3c3r34l You obviously can`t tell when someone was troll'd.

  • Love Keb. Love Keb. Love Keb

  • best songwriter of all time. his words are coming straight from heaven.

  • Wow. I accidentally clicked on this video, looking for some Black Joe Lewis- I am glad I did! What a great song!!

  • he's sure got soul, and heart in this

  • Just goes to show you how one man and a guitar can move you. Nothing to hide behind, just pure talent and a great song in a great idiom. This is where it ALL started boys and girls. The deep, dark Delta blues.

  • Thanks Dad

  • Man, i love his voice. So powerful

  • Does anybody know what kind of opentuning he use? thx ..... Keb mo one of the greatest musician ever.

  • Its on here...just do a search for it...

  • keb mo is absolutely amazing, i'm surprised he isn't a lot more popular. unlike most sellout singers, he is able to sound just as amazing live as he does on the cd.

  • Spread the love sisters and brothers...

    Irish Girl

  • I gave up playing my harps and singin after alot of bands and heartache.along comes Keb Mo and i broke out my harps and amp.Now Keb and I jam every chance i get

  • beautiful

  • Keb Mo is only man I know who can play like Muddy did. i think he really feels in his soul, just like Muddy. B.B., Stevie Ray, John Lee, even Robert Johnson were/are great in their own right, but Keb stands as the blues iconof our day. Later.

  • Man this guy has got the heart and soul of the Mississippi Delta flowin right through his veins, I'm beginning to think that Keb Mo is Robert Jonhson's reincarnation because, just like Robert, he's way ahead of any blues artist of his time :)

Thank you always for such a pure gem upload, top rating always :), the blues legend may not be with us physically, but in music, they are always with us because the spirit and the music will always live on :) Willie

  • Legends*

On another note, it's a shame that there are so many great guitairsts out there, who play great, but lack the ability to play with the same real sound and feel, as what a bluesman can play :)

Thank you again for the awesome upload :) Willie

  • This really, just made my day. Geeflat....thanks,Bud.

  • There's nuthin' better...

  • Awesome talent. Muddy would have been proud to have had an oppurtunity to play with Keb Mo.

  • You can notice the roots of blues flowing in his veins dude, awesome performer

  • great vid...Thanks...This guy is the blues...
