However, this does not look like a DJ performance.

It looks and sounds like a premade arrangement, that his playing

around with using filters and effects. And he sure knows what his doing.

You don't see him cuing or even touching the decks. I can't see any of them

actually spin and the one to his right is blinking. And off cause he needs

@sebymethod The mixer is actually just a volume control for your CD players/vinyls. and when the DJ is about to mix in to another song, he gotta know some sertain things about it first, some of them is: BPM (Beat per minute of the song) vocals (if you are mixing two vocals into each other its get confusing, so he gotta know when the vocals will start) and last of he gotta know if the music is in tact with each others so the basskicks wont sound like a horse running.

@sebymethod But as "Titsmcgee852" told you, the sound can be confusing at some points.. so DJ's are often listening to everything through the headphones (Or something called a "monitor" not a tv monitor, but a stand-alone speaker that sends the same sound as the crowd is hearing, directly towards the DJ (it works like giant headphones) Search for "Ellaskins" here on youtube, if you are up to learning something about DJ'ing!
