it takes place in between batman begins and the dark knight,but the weird part is in the sixth and final story it looks like Wayne Manor is somehow now repaired when in The Dark Knight Wayne Manor is still being rebuilt and Bruce is staying in a penthouse and moves all of his Batman gear and the Tumbler in a crate that leads to a new underground base.

@sunblade223 The novel of Batman Gotham Knight is more cannon than the movie. There is no mansion in the novel, Ras Al Ghul is mentioned, so is Rachel Dawes, and Anna Ramirez is NOT in the novel instead there is Renne Montoya which was supposed to be in the movie. This does make Killer Croc cannon in Nolan's universe as well as DeadShot. In addition, the fight between DeadShot and Batman takes place in an abandoned warehouse. A special villain is named at the end and it's not Joker.

the anwser is easy superman and batman share a concept of not killing so that is whats stoping superman hovering around batman and burning his ass off cuase superman is too strong. So superman has to be more precise in bringing his enemies down in close range. But i think Batman would own Superman in strats ...
