I changed some things when I made my ears. I used craft foam sheets, hot glue, hair clips and acrylic paint. They are epic <3 Thank you for the inspiration X3
thanks for the tutorial, i just made my first neko ears and i love them, even if i had to use verry basic materials, i'm goign to wear them for halloween!!! thanks again ^-^ oh and thanks for the video on how to wear them it helps alot.
@michael1is2cool3 Oh sure! Instead of using fabric you can use strips of faux fur, and instead of coloring the inside just glue/sew the pink fur onto the black.
@michael1is2cool3 Yes and yes. Glue the pink paper down first for support, then glue the fake fur over the top. And all you need to do is when you go to glue the ear down onto the headband, rotate them so they face forward, backwards, or just a tilt.
@TheBritt45 Nice! Well just follow the same steps to make the cat ears and then hot glue them onto the headband. The fabric stip was basically a replacement for the headband because I didn't have any around the house and they're cheaper. But if you've got one then great! :)
If it's a stretchy headband, I wouldn't advise glueing the ears on because that'll make it difficult for the glue to hold and the paper would fall off easily.
Wow! Those are so cheap(in a good sense) and simple! I never would have thought to simply use paper! I went out and bought faux fur and fleece for the inside DX they ended up not looking so good either *sigh*
@4Icefire4 I didn't use a template, I just kind of cut it out in the shape that looked right. :p You can look at the picture and you can really see the basic shape. You can make them as big or smalll as you'd like. It's a triangle that looks like it gained a few pounds so it has a bit of a rounded edge. ;)
Of course! I just used a crayon because I didn't have any fabric on me at the time.
YES THANK YOU i have been looking for how to make loveless ears and i went to a lot of sites but THIS is the best one yet,it's easy and looks like the real thing (from the show) THXXX XD
@GRACEofdawn I was SO tired of Loveless cosplayers with the triangle cat ears that looked nothing like the art, so I'm glad other people were happy with the new design. Thank you for the lovely comment. :)
@animegirl9841 I'll probably just make a video and try and put it as a video response. If I explained it in words you might just be a lot more confused than you already are. :P
@PenutButterNBannas Thank you! They don't move like some, but I think the shape looks a lot closer to the ears in the Manga than the typical triangle cat ears.
Well some cosplays (like this) you can do with a little fabric and random crap you have around the house. :p Try Wal-Mart. Most of them have decent fabric counters with afforable prices.
You'd be surprised at how easy cosplaying can be. ;)
You're sooo cute with those ears. :3

I think what I'll do is this, but before I glue them down, I'll add faux fur to the paper to make them look good.

michael1is2cool3 6 months ago
@StarInkyness oh and ps is it possible to make the ears go a little more forward instead of faceing sideways?

I made my Ritsuka ears a little differently. I used faux fur and pink foam on a headband with some white boa feathers for fur sticking out. :D
