It wasnt just the cocaine and alcohol that killed him. What also played a huge role in his death was his steroid abuse. Infact if he just did lots of cocaine and drank and never touched any steroids he might have still been with us today. Because too much of them enlarges your heart. And a giant heart on a giant person mixed with constant alcohol and cocaine = death....

wow.. his poor health and age are apparent in this clip!.. very sad..his nearby mainstay bottle of wine replaced with and energy drink.. he looks tired and makes several errors as he appears to struggle to recall this song. Its kinda heartbreaking seeing what his lifestyle did to him in just a decade. Big ppl already have the clock against them, the drug /alcohol abuse just sped it up... Still as creepy a guy as he was, he had a strange charm and realism about him. He will be sorely missed.

type o is one of my favorite bands and always will be. their music is very special to me for reasons i'll not go into... sadly i never got to see them live.

that said, i hate to say it, but peter doesn't look or sound so good in this performance. was his health failing at this point?

And honestly, again, like has already been said, at least he's honest about reading the lyrics. Very casual about it. Still into the stage banter. Still puts on a good show. And it's a damn shame he's no longer here. :(

At least he's honest about it, not as some lame a*ss posers out there who have tv monitors disguised as speakers showing the lyrics, teleprompter style. I have huge respect for Peter Steele and for the fact that he was always and most of the times to his detriment, upfront and genuine and never tried to gloss anything over, be it good, bad or ugly.

Watching these most recent videos it looks like Pete is really getting better, I saw them live in Poland in 2007 and he sounded terrible, also didn't care to sing/play parts of songs cause he was so wasted. The Carnivore 2007 tour was bad in that aspect as well judging by the videos I've seen. In this he's still not the Peter Steele he used to be vocally but it's so much better it's beyond comparision, I'm glad.
