@Treckorz Not well. If you were lucky enough to avoid dying due to the constant warfare, you would have been dead by age 45 from illness, famine, or other awful means. Be thankful you were born when you were. Life back then was not as pleasant.
@TheAlexagius Yeh.. most of it is still fertile and green but not how it was 30 years ago.. as Iraq had the most palm trees in the world, but the now gone dictator cut most them off.
Proud to be an Iraqi, I wish I could go back in time and see how my generation was living
