  • now thats how you hit down on the ball

  • that's how i swing at normal speed... lol

  • Steve Williams must have disliked this

  • He fades it terribly. and still - look at that grip. It's MORE than neutral. I even dnt know what you would call such a grip. I can't for my life understand why Tiger isnt using a stronger grip. Or at least neutral. Everytime he misses, its too the right.

  • @4JRimmer ok, i d like to see your fade, becasue tiger only has 14 major wins, and you have your moms pussy every night

  • Close to the hosel? Yeah, the distance the center of the club face is from the hosel is actually pretty close if you think about it, your right.

  • did you do it in slow motion or that tiger wood just hit the ball and do his swing in slow motion

  • the reason he was laid off at top was because the face was a bit open on takeway

  • at first it looks like a chunk but its a low trap draw

  • stinger

  • pretty damn close to the hosel at impact

  • @jambojamboify

Slow it down, try to pause it at impact - he flushes it, dead centre.

  • i wonder if hes won any majors

  • topped it!

  • Anyone know why Tiger stands soo close to the ball ?

  • @MrRagnello17 He has said in videos before that when he is close to the ball he feels more on top of it and is able to keep the ball flight lower than normal.

  • @RyanADillon Oh ok. Thanks.

  • @MrRagnello17

he doesn;t...his arms hand pretty comfortably here....see jim Furk for someone who stand really close!!

  • @MrRagnello17 It's not that close. He has perfect posture. I stand about the same distance and manage to hit it pretty well. Everyone is different.

  • thats such a good golf swing

  • awesome traj on that shot.

  • ボールを打った時、右足裏の外側が少しめくれる。体の正面でボールをとらえている。大きなお世話だけれど、石川遼のアイアンショットはDOWNで右足は持ち上がり、体が回ってまた、右足裏が揺れる。

  • Looks like a little draw.

  • That is one open club face in the takeaway with the toe pointing straight up. Liked his old swing better with the face perpendicular to his spine and much more square to plane. Way less hand action required through the hitting area.

  • I will say it takes quite a pair to win the "tiger slam" in 2000 and then go on to change his swing every 2 or 3 years. I wish him the best of luck this year. He needs to keep his head in check. The swing doesn't leave the major champion, the major champion leaves the swing. He needs to trust himself again and get that aggressive mentality back. Oh, and always remember, be humble tiger. It's your best side

  • @billyeveryteen75 A: He won the "tiger slam" in 2001 he changed his swing because he could not swing like that it put too much strain on his knee

  • @f0cusen aha i stand corrected Thank you. Idk I think his greatest fumble knee-wise was the extreme cardio workout with the running and such. I'm obviously no expert but i don't see a huge difference in the "posting" in his left knee from the start of his career. I guess any golf injury is inevitable especially a knee injury. Cheers to a full re-recovery and a little better quality Watchable golf lol

  • that guy could get big some day

  • You can tell Arequipa dosnt have any nuts

  • Well guys, if u understood anything about golf you would know that his swing with Hank harm his body, and thats because he wasn't transfering his weight properly, and he was trying to do it with hank the wrong way I really think he a very good swing with Butch, and stats prove that, although he really had good stats no matter his coachs And now with Foley, he's been doing a great work, he is getting simple and compact, and that will result in less misses than before, his driver Just need to put

  • @fepor27 Just curious... since you know so much about the golf swing... What do you mean he wasn't shifting his weight properly with Hank?

  • dude needs to stop wearing those stupid looking baggy pants

  • @arequipa1 Why? So he can look like everyone else? Kind of a lame thing to do, imo.

  • That flight is awesome!!

  • Hehe, question: Is Tiger gona pass Jack Nickluas major record? humm... well this is Tiger after all but I sill dont think he is gona make it. Then again jack won his last major at age 46 or whatever but as it looks know you can maby, just maby.

  • drop dick

  • One of the best swings ever, if not the best. This is effortless power and no injuries. His new swing and the old from Butch will and did cause his body harm. Look how easy he flighted this ball inn low. He is gonna regret it big time in a few years. His problem has never been the irons. The problem was that he swung different with the driver.

  • @prosticks: you are the first person on this page that actually knows what they are talking about! Anyone who knows exactly what Hank teaches looks at this swing in awe!

  • @prosticks but if we look at statistics he won 8 majors when he had Butch as couch, so I don't know if he should swith teather a THIRD time. But then again the swing Tiger had back in the day when he had Butch as couch did cause harm to his body. Tuff call there :/

  • Why did he ever go to Sean Foley?!?! This was such an amazing golf swing and now SF is going to completely screw it up!

  • @drewr729 you're embarrassing to youtube

  • That bowed left wrist at the top helps the supination at impact, which encourages the forward shaft lean and good contact. If you lack consistency or weak ball flight try it.

  • @pdgrimm

I agree, certaily does help release and stronger impact position, but better rotate.

  • Bowed? looks on plane to me. If I were Tiger I would run back to Hank and listen to him, instead of doing what Tiger wants. Tigers swing is 2006 and 2007 was perfect on plane! This is not a one plane swing. He brings the club outside of the plane line at the beginning. (bring it a little more inside and up the line and he would not have problems).

  • If he runs back to anyone, run back to Butch.

  • If he runs back to anyone, run back to Butch. There was no better golf swing on the planet, before or since, better than Tiger's in the early 2000's.

  • @emonheiser10

It's slightly bowed, but agree, pretty close to plane. I think Tiger would have better consistency getting a little closer to a cupped position. Otherwise, better move those hips (rotate) or you're going to go left. Hogan, who (I think) he tries to emulate, cupped his wrists more at the top. Just an opinion.

  • don't like that bowed left wrist

  • I take a little turf too but damn thats gotta kill your wrist after hitting 300 balls a day.

  • Shoulders too square at impact. I never liked his swing. He can pull it off because he's got the best athletic instincts the game has ever seen.

  • @bunkerputt Your going to say you like tigers swing. I bet your a 25 handicap.

  • @PBRMafia That swing works if you're Tiger. But even Tiger knows that swing isn't as good as it gets, otherwise why would he keep changing it? And no, you're not in the ballpark with my handicap, as though it would ever be clear from a youtube post...

  • Stinger baby !

  • Hey Lake, with the excessive fanning of the left forearm, why is he failing to close the face consistantly? I guess my question is, what piece is Tiger missing that Hogan had? I think he is damn close, but not there. Nice vids.

  • @ej0002 Good point ej, by fanning do u mean his like bendy at the wrist at the top of his swing. Altho ithink he was just playing that stinger so his kinda chopping down from that position. I think he is over thinking his swing these days. he will be back to much talent there.

  • To compensate for his body compression towards the ground on his down swings, and when he does that his club faces flattens up. (7 second mark)

  • @eJunkee You didnt answer my question at all. And no, Tiger dont hump the goat. And he dont bail either. So thats not it. the prontation wasnt a fix or bandaid, it was a particluar move that happened not to work for him.

  • @ej0002 "Tiger dont hump the goat" nice...

  • lol...

  • Man, these are some good vids! Don' t understand why Tiger's got so obsessed with (imho) over rotation of the right forearm & blade in the takeaway. Its not toe up its fanned wide open, he only gets it square from excessive bowing of left wrist!! (I know he has a weak grip but seems like 2 many compensations!)

  • @sharkwilboy yeah i just saw that - good point - i think tiger likes plaing with 'the swing' who knows next time he might compensate with his penis lol

  • I cut the film at 15 sec because security/staff were all swarmed in front of the lens a sec after.... the ball flew low and straight at the hole w/ a slight fall to the left at the end.

  • @Lake1926 did they like kick you out? lol

  • did he slice that one?

  • do u have the full video showing it land?
