I just bought the Sigma by CF Martin D-41 ( their foriegn make). I was so impressed by the sound. It's very similar to the D-41 Martin. It's really loud compared to my Seagul S6 CW (much mellower because of the cedar top).
I record with a friend who has a D-28 (old one). This Sigma D-41 is not a real Martin but it's sound is very close and not quite as loud. My friends D-28 is very Sweet ! I think this Sigma will get better with Time. I call it "Banging it in"
@avobenzone No, it is not sorry but ive heard those kits really suck. Plus they save better wood for the D-41s up around and etc . If it where real the kit would cost alot! If the kit was the same id buy one the kit has mahogany back and side. the real d41 has Rosewood back and sides most prob east indian im shure of it.
