The first time I heard this theme, I thought I was looking at Achmed's card and I started panicking because I thought something was wrong with my sound card. This was back when was 6 and I had just started Backyard Soccer.
Amir is a pretty good pitcher in 2001, he's my second favorite. The guy gets strike outs like mad in 2001, but also gives up a lot of home runs. In 97 he is crap unless on the same team is achmed.
Amir>Achmed. I always thought amir was better than achmed. Just by the sounding of the theme difference it sounds like, yeah i'm younger but i got a edge feeling ya know?

In terms of hitting, I don't really think one was better than the other.
Achmed had a bit more power, but Amir was more consistent because his swing was more level.
