In order to be fast you have to keep your momentum, hitting the brakes on a tacky track gets your car in a bind to where it loses all speed and the guys on top are beating you every time.
Damn dude I have been watching a few of these mini sprint vids on here and I gotta say this one is one of the best looking and sounding videos I have seen. Nice car control....even though it looks like you finished 2nd it still looked good. I used to watch these cars run at my local track. They used 1000+ cc engines and man did they haul ass around the 1/4 mile.
