This may be stupid, but I need some help. In the booklet for The Resignation, the very first page has words in it and has The Resignation written up the side of the song/words, but it's not on the cd? They words don't even show up when I googled them. Is it just like...Matt Embree's own liner notes? Or an opening to the album?

I used to be a fan and Frances the Mute and De-loused, but let's be honest, while they are talented, their direction is completely misguided. And I love progressive/psych/math music. But they're too full of themselves to produce anything worthwhile.

Who? Volta is amazing but lets be honest, the ambient noise gets annoying as fuck if you actually wanna listen to an album or put it on random. Thats why a song like Goliath slays - just pure music no useless shit.

Who cares if it's somewhat similar to the Mars Volta? It's still got its own flavor. If you appreciate music...you would appreciate this album. I listen to both RX and the Mars Volta...they're both genius bands. Respect it.

It was unfortunate that they lost the horn, but it really gives them the ability to flex there muscles on the other instruments. They really have progressed into a very unique band. Ska-reggea to this nu-metal sound, they really are top notch.

The Mars Volta was At the Drive In on the 90's and they made ska-reagge with punk/prog rock influences before Rx Bandits existed on their band Los Dregtones :) they also had their dub project Defacto

i love what ive heard...alot, but there are annoying peaks in some parts, and a bit dull in other parts, plus the drums are way back compared to other albums.

I hope that it sounds new all over again when i get the album:D

My friend handed me a copy. I already ordered the vinyl and CD as well, but I couldn't wait. I've been a Bandits fan since 2003 when I heard them live with Finch and since then they've been my favorite band. This is my favorite album thus far.

And Volta, I love the Mars Volta but they are completely different.
