It can happen. Some cultures do believe in a realm where the dead and the living communicate through dreams. Not any of the dream planes. Something else, but I don't recall what. If someone was willing, they can make a game, set on that plane, with the two of them in it.

I don't know. Just contributing to an interesting fan theory. Although, co-op would be a fun thought. Besides, there is a death beyond death, if you believe in that sort of thing. Like in the movie Beetlejuice, in which a dead person who dies again becomes a lost soul. The Egyptions had a sort of afterlife belief involving death after death.

@laughingfurry Madotsuki dies in yume nikki but urotsuki in one of the endings doesn't jump so..... would they fight in uro's dream world? That would be very interesting to say the least.
