@slay3r43v3r Thank you for your concern, but I wanted to assure you that Puggy's oversized tongue does not hinder his quality of life in the least, therefore, putting him though life threatening surgery is not warranted. I am very proud to share my dog with others because I love & accept him just the way he is & I think he's absolutely adorabale regardless of his tongue. Puggy was once a stray dog with mange, but now he shines for all the world to see and that is something to be proud of!! : )

@SexCLexy Puggy manages just fine with eating and drinking and has no problems in doing so! He has had approx. 10 years to adjust to his over-sized tongue and has mastered the art of eating and drinking remarkably well! He's happy and heathy and lives a wonderful doggy life. : )

@sherribailey75 Thanks for your honesty. Yes, I agree, puggy's tongue is abnormal, but I assure you that he lives a very happy,healthy &active doggy life. I live with him 24/7 & believe me, I would know if his was suffering or in pain, but this is not the case at all! He's adapted to his tongue amaziingly well, afterall, that's all he knows. Since his tongue doesn't effect his quality of life, there's no need to subject him to major surgery that could possibly end his life! I am PROUD is mine!

@EpicAnomaly puggy eats with his tongue, since he can't get teeth to food contact, but he manages just fine though. I chop his food up into small pieces and this enables him to eat with ease! He lives a happy normal doggy life otherwise! : )

Yes, puggy is a small dog with an over-sized tongue....natures way you know and somethimes nature doesn't make a lot of sense, but it is what it is!!! But he gets by wonderfully though. The only time it fits in his mouth is when he is barking or growling! Thx for stopping by! : )

She is the love of my life! She has "Hanging tongue syndrome because she was kicked in the face from a horrible person before we adopted her. She really is a sweetheart. We would love to make a 'movie' how cute that would be!!!!!

Yes, if you look closely you can see that the left side of her jaw was broken and tilts down to that side. It healed that way before we got her and the vet said it would most likely need to be rebroken to set it and it wouldn't help the tongue. I can't put her through that and the vet agrees...we test her for pain at her once a month check ups and am going from there. She seems happy and content!!!
