  • omg i remember this used to watch this had my cereal and fell alsepp in front of the tv

  • Dear God, what nostalgic memories this brings back! I watched this as a kid back in 1975 (I was 6 years old). Yeah, sure, as an adult I can see how people say how cheesy it is. But back as a 6 year old kid, this really appealed to me. I loved how it starred Larry Storch and Forrest Tucker from F Troop (another one of my favorite sitcoms, then and now), the gorilla, the old car they drove around in, the ghost busting theme of the show (as I loved ghost stories), and the overall comedy. Fun show!

  • @classicphile Everything you said me too.

  • I remember Karen Valentine on a episode Huba huba wow

  • I just found "the entire series" on DVD at Books-a-Million yesterday. I looked at it and said to myself, "So, *this* is what that cartoon was based on!" It even has the gorilla!

  • Around 1975.

  • I love how the real ones stole the name. That's pretty awesome actually, since this is like mystery science theatre material.

  • So the Real Ghostbusters weren't the real ones... Hmmm Just the BETTER Ones!.. I remeber The Filmation Ghostbusters Animated series too, i liked that one as well

  • I remember this, I used to watch it every Saturday morning. Ah... the good old days.

  • I'll never forget that song!!!

  • To be honest, this is where it all began!

  • .......I remember watching this every Saturday

morning,it was one of the funniest shows

    ever.

  • lol

  • I went to see Forrest Tucker sign autographs about the time this show was on.... I was the only one under ten in the crowd, when it was my turn I told him how much I loved Ghost Busters, his response was a hushed "Thanks, kid" It took many years before I realized I was shining a light on an area of his career that he'd rather not too many adults see.

  • The Ghostbusters movies should have had a Gorilla sidekick

  • Another reason that monkeys are cool.

  • Apes.

  • @Temjin707 They did...Ernie Hudson.

  • @krelbar wow, racist much?

  • @EmSeeSquared Racism:The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

I simply made a joke that does not fit this definition. Please understand the words you use.

  • @krelbar you called Ernie Hudson a gorilla. a racist description that HAS been given to black people. i've even seen incredulous assumptions that King Kong was meant to represent a black slave in love wit a white woman. so yes, your comment sounded racist.

  • @EmSeeSquared Tons of comedians, black and white, use derogatory terms for their own race and other races and it is accepted. Why can't everyday people make the same jokes? After all, like I said, it was a joke. If you couldn't ascertain that from my original statement-well-that's your problem. As a side note, people jokingly call me a Nazi, because my mother is native german. Are they saying I kill Jews? No...they are just making a joke-and it doesn't bother me one bit. Get a thicker skin.

  • @EmSeeSquared ...and you automatically made the assumption that the statement was made by a white person...bigoted are we?

  • Gotta say I've never heard of this lol

  • what the heck?

  • Oh my god XDDD

  • stop with the lame anime emoticons, you idiotic otaku freak.

  • :D thx u man, I'm impressed you've chained those words without a mistake

    :3

  • *chuckle* ^_^ How are you john? say hi to your wife for me!
