  • This rack unit alone is about my life savings!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT!! lol

  • Wow, was that some vangelis in there?

  • I stumbled across this clip looking for a demo of the art multiverb and ended up looking for an eventide DSP7500 for sale.

    HOLY SHIT..BIIIIIIIIG BUCKS !!!

no wonder the sound is so good !!

  • Wow.. that's a sweet sounding effect.

Just the sort of effect I like to play guitar with myself.

    Nicely done squire !!

  • How much does an Eventide costs??

  • were both recording outputs used?

  • do you know if you can do these effects with an Eclipse as well?

  • amazing

  • i have that ART unit. is it any good, all i know is i hate mine because of a lot of volume issues but i know the effects quality sucks too.

  • i bet if he mixed some dirty sounds in there too, it would sound badass

  • "badass" meands good or bad ?

  • wht do these do? lol

  • I have an H-8000FW that I am using with synthesizers and I have to say that this thing is made by some super-dooper extra-terrestrial intelligence! It's simply AWESOME.

  • you are truly lucky. I would love to have an h8000 simply stupendous sounding. they make even crappy casios sound ethereal and beauteous.

  • I have been lusting for one for absolutely ages and I finally got it. You are right to think that even crappy casios sound amazing through this... You have no idea what it can do to audio...

  • actually I played a casio through LOL it just to see. and that crappy tin string sounded lush and gorgeous. I played with the eventide h8000 a couple of times but that is hardly sufficient to having one and discovering it over a period of months. very curious to a comparison to the vintage h3000 which supposedly has more grain to it.

  • Yeah, the H-3000 sounds a little grainy, but this is part of its own *sound* - the H-8000 has super smooth converters - you'd have a very hard time if you compared them to say an Apogee AD16.

  • hey FYI I got the h3000 d/se back in august and am in the market for a used H8000 here in the next few months... I can't wait. How have you been enjoying yours? Have you started to program your own algorithms yet?

  • nice expensive toy... only for studio use..

  • why? It's great live as well

  • tell that to steve vai

  • And John Petrucci, and Robert Fripp, and Adrian Belew, and Mark Tremonti just to name a very, very, few.

  • It is my dream to own an Eventide some day but unfortunately will I never be able to raise that kind of money. But than again maybe that day will come.

  • They released pedals that are far more affordable than the rackmounts.

  • Have you heard about AXE FX?? it's got Eventide quality effects (including angel echo) and the best Amp simulation I've heard from a digital preamp..

  • What do you think...pleaes give me adcice

Which one to buy : 7500, Orville or 7600 ???

Who have a better sound !!!

    Thk u :D

  • Orville is better than 7500 and 7600. It's just little higher class.

  • EVH has some in 5150, just fyi.

  • the sound is just relaxing .. makes u wanna sleep tight under a blanket .. aahahah

  • There sooooooo coooolll!!!!! Angel Echos is my fav....John Petrucci use`s that patch on The Great Debate....check that one out live.....have a good one

  • Thank you for posting man. It was great to see (and hear) that changeover from complete dry to wet. I`m really impressed how good the effects sounded. That were factory presets or your modifications?

  • Sounds GREAT man. I've been playing guitar 20+ years so I know good sound. 2 Questions: 1) Why using the verb on the ART box instead of the Eventide? 2) Does the Recto Recording Pre's clean channel get a dark enough clean tone for jazz guitar?

  • Absolutely. I have a GREAT sample of that jazz darkness on my Eventual420 channel (link is on this channel) with a song called Blue Sky Sunday. The Recto and the Eventide did a great job, having listend to some Jazz players, I took to the Recto and milked out those tones. The ART is just the hint of standard reverb that I find missing in preamps. The Eventide blows it over the top, typical of the Tide are extreme effects. This way I could have both since I dry up the Tide alot.

  • thank I was wondering what the Eventide Sounded like I am happy you posted this I can save my money To Get one..
