How do you know what the shorkie puppy will look like? Are there videos of typical shorkie adults? Most I have seen look very different as adults and can end up looking more shih tzu or more yorkie

i think my yorkie is pregnant, i was irresponsibe and so busy working, and didnt notice her for almost a month (pay so much attention like i usually do when the time i was unemployed).. im just giving her food and drink tho.. the bad thing is i had a male shih tzu, OMG, and i had male yorkie too but he was too young, (11 months) to became the father, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT MALE SHIH TZU FUCKED MY BABY MIMI?

@pricelesspups aint nothing wrong with them. I have 4 2yr old Shorkie pups. Mom a yorkie and dad Shih Tzu. The have both mom and dads personalities. We also use to breed Maltese and the Shorkie breed so far by having is the best breed I'll ever have.

Shorkies throws back to the Shih Tzu side that is why the mom is the Shih Tzu . The big thing is health issues they can have. Which is why repsonsible breeders do their testing. That goes for any breed. If you look at the puppy he has a longer muzzle. Shih Tzu (quality shih tzu) DO NOT look like this puppy above. Shih Tzu have a wide eye set and a higher set nose. The ine thing you want to avoid is Shorkies with no hair,Thin coats, no hair on the face, That is a RED FLAG something is wrong

He is a shorkie bred to a shorkie. In the Shorkie Club Of America it takes 5 generations of correct breeding to finally keep a shorkie back to breed to another shorkie. This give us 5 yrs of CLEAN lineage that have all passed their OFA<CERF<LIVER AND KIDNEY testings. All documented for each breeding Mom and or dad Shorkies can on occassion look like yorkies but Should resemble the Shih Tzu more so! Sorry to tell the guy below but they are a new breed and we are following all the AKC guidelines to do so. The AKC is an open registration. We do more genetic testing prior to breeding than most purebreed breeders do in the shorkie club of america. We believe in responsible breeding practices. NOne of our dogs are ever bred prior to passing all genetic testing.
