At one stage this reviewer says theres not much reason to go back and play uncharted again. I dissagree I just finished it on normal and have every intention of playing it again on hard! The firefights are so intence the environments and platforming are spectacular and at times you feel your actually playing a movie

Gears of war is a very good game, Uncharted is a very good game & honestly at the end of the day i enjoyed Uncharted more.

But both games are winners with great gameplay amazing visuals & an interesting story.

its not but its a big difference from say 9.1 Reviewers only tend to give great and revolutionary games such as San Andreas GOW GT and halo the 9+ score while 8-9 is reserved for very good but not great games if you get me. I think Uncharted deserves in the 9s because of its presentation and script. There really should be more games like this

Played the Demo of this and had to buy it. Should be playing it in a few days. Tide me over until MGS4 and GTA4. Both of which should last me more than a couple of weeks like I expect Uncharted to. Mind you, I can watch films over and over so playing this game over and over might well suit me OK. Besides, I have The Darkness and Burnout Paradise as well as countless demo's to keep me going heh.

Lies! EA released SKATE a month later for the PS3. PS3 SUPPORTS 1080p but it doesn't upscale, it's either 1080p or nothing. 360 has upscale on every new 360 game: ALL of my 360 games can be displayed in full HD, even mutliplatforms. The only ones that can't are PDZ and Lost Planet. My PS3 games: Ratchet & Clank 1080i, Resistance 720p, Motorstorm 720p, Lair 1080p, Uncharted 1080i, Kane and Lynch 1080i.

depends on how you develop the game. take oblivion for instance. the ps3 version is far superior with better lighting, less popup and better framerate. They took more time on optimizing the game for the hardware and CELL. if they'd release the games at the same time the, porting the game in the same way, the 360 version would be far superior and the ps3 version would be worse than the 360 version is now.

Oh don't kid yourself with that crap. Everytime I buy a PS3 there's always one comment on its specs, it's a Cell Processor....my HDTV has a Cell Processor so does that make it "hyper-realistic"? RE 5 is still coming to 360, Free Radical made a deal with Sony for it and TS4. GTA 4 isn't a jaw-dropping game, all it requires is compression. However the PS3 version needs to be completely rewritten because the Cell Processor is crap for programming. 360 is getting EXCLUSIVE episodic content, end of.

The deal with free radical was to have haze as a timed exclusive but then they realized they couldn't compress the data on the 360's dvd 9. Rockstar never said they had problems with the ps3. if that was the case then rockstar wouldn't be making there next big franchise exclusively for the ps3.

RE5 is coming to the 360. Square enix said that they wanted to end the series of final fantasy on the ps3 same with kingdom hearts. Games like getaway 3, killzone 2, mgs4, eight days, infamous, and heavy rain are impossible the 360 though. If any 360 fanboy response to this comment just know that these companies have said that.

@ 4:25 the reviewer says that hand to hand combat is reduced only to one three hit combo that is impossible to execute. what a dumbass. the combos vary between square, triangle, and actual pace. if you are running u can do a neck breaker just like hunk in resident 4. this is what happens when u get some jackass to review a game instead of a actual gamer. if anything the melee system is nothing short of awesome. although it is something u want to avoid in intense gunfights.

I agree, I only have the demo, but I LOVE the fighting. I mean, you can sneak up from behind and snap their necks, storm them and mid-air kick them in the face, push them up against a wall and continiously punch them in the stomach and finish with an uppercut, and my favourite: Hide, distract, run around and hit him so hard in the head he immideatly falls to the ground!

yeah like Bioshock right? It turned out to be one of the highest rated games of all time. It was offline, but they were able to make it a 25 hour game that you would want to beat AT LEAST twice before even taking it out of your 360....

In fact, I'm pretty sure it's the second highest rated game ever and it has no online, no leaderboards, and no co-op.
