I first watched this movie in prison (yes, prison) in1996. Or 94? Anyway, it really helped me understand the influence that peers have, and about prejudice, and about doing things for people and not really knowing who is who and learning to find out who are REALLY your friends.

I think it helped me make it out alive. (I served 12 years)

He cut his wrists. If you keep the wound underwater, then the blood isn't able to clot properly, which is what prevents us from bleeding to death when we get so much as a paper cut. So, he eventually bleeds to death.
