  • McCain might be a puppet but I can't stop wondering how different things would be if he was ever in the White House.

  • @wreddon Man I miss the old Mcain before he became a sell out

  • @dostoyevesky12 There was never an "old McCain". His entire political career is predicated on constantly selling out his persona for something new.

He was different as a congressman, then he changed as a Senator, then he changed again when he ran in 2000. Then he changed yet again when he thought about bailing the party in 2004. Then he changed yet again in preparation for 2008, and then changed again in order to keep his Senate seat in 2010. I don't know which McCain it is now, nor do I care.

  • @Tokopol

People's specific policies change evolve as they evolve, there is nothing wrong with that.

But there is no substantive difference between the McCain of 2000 to 1990 to 1980. But the McCain of 2008 directly contradicts the McCain of 2000.

McCain used to be a Republican in the genuine tradition instead of the newer evangelical, anti-intellectual one.

McCain was a great American, but now he'll be remembered by many as the 2008 candidate who sold his soul to Karl Rove. Tragedy...

  • @dostoyevesky12

    I know Man... I know.

The stupidest part of it all is that had he run as his 2000 self he would've had such a better chance to win in 2008. I never got the energizing the party thing, it makes sense for the primary but why the general election? Are people really gonna vote for Obama over Mccain in Texas? Not enough, that's for sure.

He should've run as a reformer with Powell as his VP. He could've won.

  • @tubub Man, Powell as VP never even thought of that, I for sure would've voted for that ticket

  • God Bless Bush!

  • @xukeith33 bush was the WORST preisdent EVER !!!!!!

  • Ah yes..back in the good old days when the election was about fighting over who was going to do what with the surplus that Clinton left us.

  • surplus to pay down debt,....bush was stupid to waste it on giving a inheritance tax cut

  • yeah, all tired of the excellent Clinton years - how out of touch Republicans have ALWAYS been !

  • NO SIR! YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT....well pretty darn close. You are NOT a conservative! dont claim to be one! IF you claim yourself to be a conservative, why do you believe in higher taxes???????!!

  • Hillary Clinton is being preened to take President Maobama's place. Both Obama and Hilary answer to George Soros who contributed to both and who has the mainstream media in his back pocket. He gets Obama to take the Country to extreme socialism passing treasonous legislation against the will of the American people, then gets Hillary in office. Our dollar is on the verge of collapse, and our sovereignty is threatened as a direct result of legislation and lack of leadership.

  • @Oktoberfesting i hate to break it to you mate, but your economy was fucked before obama took over and its going to remain fucked regardless of whatever republicans take over. and from what ive seen of some of the dickheads that are coming in wanting to cut scientific research in a lot of important areas, they're going to be the one who sees america cease to be a superpower because you'll fall so far behind

  • @AussiePolitics

    .

I'm not arguing you with that point. But Obama Sun Tzu'd America further destroying our economy in ways that are almost unbelievable. He hates America and Americans. He as well as many members in Congress are traitors who have committed treason, high crimes and bribery as defined by the U.S. Constitution. Problem is the people that are in charge of trying and convicting them are the same people that have committed it. We live in scary times.

  • @Oktoberfesting further destroying your economy? you were already pretty fucked before he came into office. a shockingly bad recession had just started, the republicans signed the first massive debt creating bail out and you were involved in a number of costly wars in other countries. you look at the trillions of dollars america is in debt and the warning signs both republicans and democrats ignored for years.

  • @AussiePolitics

    .

Our debt was $10.6 Trillion when Obama got in office. Now it's $14.1 Trillion two years after he took office. He increased our total debt by 33% in half a term. You don't think that's treasonous. And if you looked at all his Executive Orders and all the legislation he signed, you'd see he was nothing more a TRAITOR.

  • @Oktoberfesting right and there was no massive collapse of the entire american economy. do you know what happens during a recession? the government straight away goes into debt because the budget revenue drops like a stone. secondly just like the republicans who seemed to only support bailouts when they're in power the democrats had to do something about the economy.

  • @Oktoberfesting your bailout was absolutely tiny compared to the size of your economy. on a per capita basis australias was far larger and we did not even go into a recession.

i think you're best advised to direct your accusations of racism towards the fools who were in power for 8 years before this crisis occurred. so obama actually tries to do something about the economy and he's a traitor right? and WHAT legislation brands him a traitor? only an idiot says debt makes someone a traitor

  • Clinton didn't leave a $5.6 Trillion surplus but a $1.4 trillion debt over eight years. He borrowed from Social Security, part of a $115 Trillion unfunded liability, to make it seem he left a surplus. See my about me for links. The Debt Clock should be adjusted increasing the national debt from $14.0 to $21 Trillion and reducing our unfunded liabilities by $7 Trillion to reflect the truth about Clinton.

    .

    Allen West 2012

  • at that last part when Mccain said "no matter what." He twitched slightly. I barely noticed it and actually had to look at it again. He is not a very good liar, but he is a liar.

  • How about we use the surplus money to pay down the debt, period?

  • Yeah right "I'll be conservative" except when it comes to amnesty for illegals. What a two faced liar.

  • Poor McSame - a victim of the Rove attack machine.

  • I want Bill back.

  • McCain a conservative? That's like saying Obama's got brains. Puleeeeze, John....

  • @feeblepizza President Obama Does have brains. He's trying to fix the economy. The one that bush screwed up. He's trying too fix the envirement. he''s trying to fix crime, he's trying to lower payments. What else can you ask for?!

  • @leoneshasa The stimulus package bombed. Spending doesn't work, tax cuts and balanced budgets work. Global warming is bullshit, so I wouldn't get worked up about it. On crime? He hasn't even spoken about crime since he took office. He's not really making progress on lowering payments either.

  • @feeblepizza Global warming is NOT bullshit. It's true! YOU should feel it HERE in Callifornia. Weird, weird, WEIRD WEATHER!

  • @leoneshasa I think you're having wierd weather because of the Sun. It's the big orange ball of gas in the sky. When its closer to you, you get wam. When its farther away you get cold. You should really check it out (-:

  • @feeblepizza Oh, come on. Is that ALL you've got? Making little kindergarden jokes? That's retarded.

  • @leoneshasa No, I got science. Plain and simple.

  • @feeblepizza No, it's stupid. it's at pre-school level.

  • @leoneshasa It's actual science.

  • @feeblepizz Ending this stupid conversation.

  • @leoneshasa See ya!

  • It's sad that McCain sold out to Bush during the 8 years he was in office. He was a very smart guy before he started becoming his rubber stamp.

  • it would have been alot better if the real winner in 2000 becaue president

  • John McCain should've won in 2000, we wouldn't be in the mess that we're in now.

  • the recording quality is not very good, but in this case, and everything is clear

  • Bush/McSame= 2 wings on the same bird. If Al Gore had been President the last 8 years we wouldn't be at war in Iraqistan, the debt would only be around 6 trillion, and the economy would still be growing.

  • wow you are the biggest dumbass ever!

  • That says alot comming from you junior, it really does. As a matter fact I think I will take it as a complement ;-)

  • i hope you will take it as a compliment as i'm not trying to insult you i am just stating the facts.

  • If only Mccain would have won in 2000.....Im a liberal btw but mccain would have never did what bush did to this country.

  • o relly coc suxer well not being a liberial i think that the democrats should stop gay marrage bunk ass global warming stop abortion like support the death penalty ship every single illegal mexican to panama and the country whould be supper o and you liberials all essepcly in ney york and california all claming to be independents just so mcain wins that was awsome!

  • coc suxer? And is it your right to say gays cant marry? was our country founded on the principle of stopping people from pursuing happiness because of our different beliefs?

  • Fuck you and all your faggot freinds voteiong for mcain!!!

  • lol I agree.

  • i wish he was the nominee in 2000

  • Hey, it was Clinton that gave us our surplus, McCain. All the GOP did was try to get Bill impeached.

  • Not only did we impeach Clinton, we also GAVE the nation the surplus through the Contract with America. And don't give me crap about Bush's debt; Bush is no conservative. He is a spendthrift Neocon who felt it was necessary to impose environmental regulations, federalizing public education, expanding aid to foreign countries, big government, big spending, government intervention in the economy, bailouts, etc; none of which can be remotely considered conservative.

  • @irapedelmo12345

There was a surplus under the Clinton administration because the Republicans controlled congress and they couldn't agree on a budget.

  • Comment removed

  • @irapedelmo12345

    Totally true.

  • @irapedelmo12345 Clinton dipped into social security making it look like there was a surplus, in all truth he left a deficit for Bush

  • @VoiceOfModeration

I'm sure you're able to prove your supposition...

  • @irapedelmo12345 GHWB made the surplus possible.

  • Comparing Bush to Clinton! LOL Clinton did a great job, created millions of jobs, longest sustained economic groth! heck, if bush did HALF the job clinton did he would be far more popular.

  • I'm not sure what McCain thought he was doing making that comparison. I suppose he was trying to dig up stuff about that Monica Lewinski scandal and say Clinton was liar and then cowtow Bush to that, but it still isn't that smart of a move. Clinton got elected twice and despite the scandal people loved him, if this was the ad he was pushing it's no wonder Bush got the republican ticket and won the election.

  • Lol, i think id rather have minor unpopularity from sleeping with a woman than have major unpopularity from killing thousands

  • The Iraq sactions, the US bases around the world.

Clinton didn't do anything about that.

Watch blood and oil movie here on youtube. You'll know why.

  • You may need to check your history... Unemployment dropped in the bush years, the GDP was up, and the stock market reached record highs... That was until the democratic lawmakers you know as "Congressmen" voted against any regulation of fannie and freddie and all consumer confidence went down the tube because morons were taking out loans everyone and their grandma knew they couldn't pay back and people had to lay off workers because they couldn't take loans out, and it just spiraled downwards...

  • you think so? Bush clone? He seems to only be a bit better on some issues, others he seems worse. Keep in mind his opinion has changed on a num of things i bet.

  • John McCain is a good guy. He should have won in 2000. It was just Obama's time now. The Bush administration made him look worse on top of that!

  • i had no idea he ran before

  • That's why McCain agrees with Bush 90% of the time.

  • wow I guess all political contingents use the same tactics

  • You're right there.

  • What would you do to become the most powerful man in the world? Attacking people is what republicans do best.

  • Then I guess I am a fucking idiot. :D

  • Simple:

Algore fear mongered the people by saying that we cause "global warming". Fucking serious? global warming? FUCKING HELL I FROZE MY ASS OFF LAST WINTER!

  • mccain should have been the president in 2000..bush stole it from mccain

  • he would have led us down the same rabbit hole

    don't kid yourself

  • hjear ye! exactly right. I voted for Maccain in the primaries. I often wonder what would have been if he had been President on Sept. 11th. I think he would have had a lot more credibility here and abroad with his personal story but also just a more rational level-headed artoculate demeanour. I think Sept 11 should have been HIS moment. but his moment has passed. I voted Obama this time. More important than ideology is to periodically kick whichever party is in power out.

  • agreed. but i don't think gore should've been the president either.

  • How did Bush beat McCain? Hell! How did Bush beat anybody?????????

  • wow tax cut the same one he wants to give now wow what a flip flopper

  • i like the mccain of 2000 better than the mccain in 2008,clearly hes being sucked into the right wing vortex of his party

  • THIS McCain could have won this election. He sold his soul and he'll have to live with that forever. He'll go down in history as the ultimate politician, in the negative sense of the word.

  • desperate... negative attacks...

yes we ARE pretty tired of that...

but uuuh no, john, you're no longer telling the truth. now that you are Bush III

  • And by the way, I bet your one of those smart historical people who help make history by helping to elect Bush. Oh yea, your a really smart guy. Maybe your should spend some time fixing your trailer.

  • Hey willfucker, the online names says alot about you. Like how ignorant you republicans are. Obama has always been a christian. and the only proof of muslim, is the word of an ignorant McCain. But what do I know. It's people like you who think that burning a cross is holy, so i guess your smarter, though fire represents the devil. So i guess your god jesus has a pitchfork and a tail.

Stop watching Foxnews. Their lies got you gassed up.

  • McCain 2000!

Let's go back in time and stop the robocall in SC and create an alternate universe. He would have been better than Gore or Bush

Now he's a shell of that man.

  • mccain should be our president in 2000 and not bush. now he too old and out of touch

  • I may have voted for that McCain, but I guess 8 years changes you a lot.

  • LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To think Eight years ago, John McCain criticized George W. Bush's politics and now he's using that kind of politics in his own campaign.

  • This is the real reason McCain will lose. Nothing to do with Obama, but the simple fact that McCain has sold out his values to Rick Davis and the neocon machine.

  • you simply don't know anything you twat

  • Sit down you old fart.

  • John MUCKcain

  • I play poker, and I like your name almost better than "McSame". wp, sir!

  • I thought Mccain was old in 2000? Oh well, Obama is blowing him out in Ohio, Florida, Virgina, Colorodo, New Mexico, Nevade, New Hamph..........

  • I bet Jesus hates what the world has become thanks to these posh white men.

Obama-Biden 2008 because there has been 43 white presidents, surely it is time for a black one.

  • Obama is closer to Jesus's skin color than the 43 Presidents before him. Too bad Christians are often to ignorant and racist to acknowledge that. With that said, that alone doesn't qualify him to be President. The fact that he is more in touch with the change that America needs is what qualifies him. As for Sarah Palin, she should be seen and not heard.

  • im not racist and im a christian, i dont care what race jesus was, i cared and do care about his person, that goes for anybody else, its not about race its about the character, but yur right though alotta people r "christians" and still r racist, that pisses me off

  • I thought you had Prime Ministers in the UK.

  • so being black will make him a good president?

  • say yes to Jesus

  • Jesus loves you all accept Him as your savior and you will have eternal life

  • Obama will be worst than Bush and Clinton combined

  • finally someone speaks the truth

  • John McCain's biggest opponent; his past self.

  • mccain = bush or even worst !!!!!!!

  • "I will tell you the truth, no matter what."

Seems McCain evolved on that issue too.

  • Well, fast forward about 8 years.. and look what we got here! WOOP.

  • I agree with McCain in this silly clip, but I agree with Nader in many more clips.

  • In America, Barack Obama doesnt stand a chance for one central reason. RACISM. There is no possible way America, being one of the most racist countries in the world, will vote in a black president.

  • he's 50% white and 50% black

  • well he better get elected or were going to have 4 more years of the same bull shit

  • you aren't from america, how do you know? I live here, this is my country, I talk with people of different races all the time...from what i hear there are racial tensions in canada b/t native americans and the average canadian? By the way, did you know Obama is leading in the polls right now against Mccain and he already beat all of the white canidates in the democrat primary?

  • if only he had won in 2000.

  • If there is a surplus, there is no debt to pay down. I liked McCain back in 2000, because Gore had Lieberman, and Bush was the son of another President I didn't like. Since Bush beat McCain, I voted for Nader. I am going to vote for Obama, but I'm not so sure how I feel about Bidden. As for Sarah Palin, beautiful woman. She should be seen and not heard.

  • No, there is a debt.

    Just not a deficit.

In 2000 we had a surplus but a large National Debt. We would have used it to pay down the debt.

  • Strange hearing the word "Surplus"

  • Him I believed. Not this new McBush guy.

  • Kind of strange. McCain compared Bush to Clinton back in 2008. Now Obama compares McCain to the Bush he faced in 2000.

    Effective.

    Obama hands down will win.

Watching the 2000 GOP convention in which Bush decried the failed policies of Clinton to the needs of the people. Bush failed.

Now in 2008, if Obama should happen to win, let's not repeat the Bush mantra.

McCain is going to lose, twice.

The people were covering Bush, cause they knew he was the one. Obama is now the choice of the USA.

  • maybe not hands down but i still think and hope Obama will win

  • man fuck both these assholes

  • MCSAME/mcbush will make the US economy TOTALLY BANKRUPT..

    OBAMA-BIDEN '08!!!!!

  • In 2000 Bush ran a nasty campaign against McCain in 2000 in South Carolina was that his adopted Bangladeshi daughter was actually black, that McCain was both gay and cheated on his wife, and that his wife Cindy was a drug addict."

Bush's supporters questioned McCain's fitness for the White House, suggesting that his five years as a POW in Vietnam drove him insane at the time." Rove Suggests McCain Committed Treason and Fathered Child With Black Prostitute.

    why is this never mentioned?

  • No, McCain would never allow an attack ad... he would never do that. Prove me wrong america :D <- Irony

Politicians are hypocrites... there, I said it :P

  • I love the irony. Seriously, that REALLY made me laugh. Most things on the internet barely get a chuckle, at best. But you OWN.

  • lol, he was old as hell back then as well too

I like Mccain actually but we need Obama

  • and "Governor bush" is still doing the same thing today...

  • McCain is a clown just like Bush is an idiot.

  • wow... it DOES take a desperate, low campaign to engage in negative attack ads...

sounds a lot like 2008 version of McCain

  • its not like it matters. voting doesnt matter anymore.. bush is proof of that. how is it possible we elected him twice ..

its all who kisses the most ass.

    period

  • Anyone who tells you that they'll always tell you the truth no matter what is usually the biggest liar. Mccain is playing the "i don't lie, i am just not intelligent" card.

  • wow flip flopper mccain, talking about those tax cuts he was against when he was just a senate now running for president again i guess he firgure to be a true republican u must go with tax cuts for the rich, wow mccain a really zero"vote obama

  • McCain was a good man at one time. Too bad we have a different person running this year.

  • McCain broke the agreement before Obama. Obama backed out of the deal because McCain had already spent millions of his donation dollars on General Election campaign expenses. Obama simply refused to stand for that. McCain is now paying for his own actions and poor judgment.

  • Which is why Obama opted out of the public finance system to instead have a campaign truly funded by the american people.

  • I dont think people understand the public financing systems purpose. It is to provide equality in campaign finance to the candidates. Also, seeing as how Obama agreed to use the public finance and seeing as how he was a big proponent of it, it doesn't make much sense that he wouldn't use it. He should have donated the money he had gotten from the primary and donated it to a bunch of charities. That would have won him the election easy.

  • Do you ever wonder why so many people are supporting Barack Obama? Could it be that this nation is becoming colorblind and does not care if a good person is black, white, red or tan? Could it be that the American people remember Bush and McCain looking into our eyes And saying, believe me there are weapons of mass destruction? Could it be that the American people are shell shocked that over 4,000 precious lives have been lost fighting the wrong war in the wrong country against the wrong enemy?

  • McCain is now asskissing up to Bush because he needs him to help with fund raising.

In 2000, McCain stood for something, now he's just a sad old man doing and saying whatever to win a vote.

He's went from save the earth, to lets drill Alaska. To calling churches oppressors to doing anything to get the christian right to accept him.

What we see of him now is a total fraud.

  • McCain can't possibly rely on Bush for "fund raising". The RNC is going to back McCain no matter what, and the donations to the RNC are usually from large companies and that is why the RNC usually will carry more cash on had than the DNC. (usually substantially more)

  • MCCAIN-GIULIANI 2008!!!!

  • I wish the 2000 McCain was legitimate, but he was a sham then too. That way we wouldn't be totally screwed if Obama somehow loses.

  • Made sense to me, if you kept up with all the things McCain talks about for the past year, he flip flops alot. He doesnt seem 'conservative' at all. Check the videos on "The Real McCain".

  • MCCain cant be honest with himself, let alone America! He either lies or just cant remember.

  • If those gas prices were still around 99 cents this all wouldent be happening. Everything is going up in price. Thats why we have all the worry and complaining.

  • Did he say surplus? What's that?

  • surplus? surplus mean extra, or more than you need...

  • I think he's being sarcastic due to all the debt that's been accumulated over the last few years.

  • So why were you lockstep with him on the taxcuts in 06? And why did you and Bush decide to go to war in 2003 and balloon the debt with it?

Piss off McCain. We've already had two Bush terms, and we don't need another one.

  • Fuck you Mccain. Go make Bush a breakfast and suck Dick off 2008.

  • BAH! lol Fucking eat it Mr. Educated.

  • can we have coffee and cake

  • Wow! Now Bush and McCain are standing shoulder to shoulder. Did anyone see Bush's official backing of McCain? Politicians are comedians 'cause the shit they do and say are SOOOOO fuckin' funny. One head two mouths.

  • Bush wishes he could be like Bill Clinton.

  • I hear ya. Bill doesn't invent new words.

  • nor does he in general suck like bush. he gets sucked.

  • Bush did invent "punditry," though.

  • How much lower can he go?

  • Beware of those who promise to "tell the truth no matter what". It's like Clinton when he told the media, He has "never told a lie." McCain would make a disaster of a president. Vote for the only Candidate whose words and voting record match.

    RON PAUL 2008

  • I hope you're not talking about Clinton getting his dick sucked.

  • Mccain Amesty = and a shatter union

  • As a former supporter of this man, and an Arizona native and current resident, I am ashamed of this man. His popularity in Arizona is plummeting, because he does not tell the truth. He is a liar....

  • You can't have tax cuts, increased spending, and paying off debt, unless you substantially decreased the tax cuts Bush was offering. Sounds like more big governement thinking to me. Hes just another liberal in war mongering conservative clothing.

  • I guess McCain has changed his mind about paying down the debt. He said Sunday,"It's a tough war we're in. It's not going to be over right away. There's going to be other wars. And right now—we're gonna have a lot of PTSD [post traumatic stress disorder] to treat, my friends...We're gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds." God save us from this empire-building warmonger.

  • McCain is a total piece...

  • Well the surplus money is gone. We're $9 trillion in debt. Whats your plan to fix that while maintaining the empire?
