@Skenzed Dude that was a punk version, and as you know, check the lyrics well in the last verse because its completely wrong. The last verse was something he wrote as a message to Johnny Rotten who at the time loved to wear these tall hats and make knots and designs out of them. So it was rather a personal verse.

Which is why in reallity Johnny doesnt let any band do a recover of Sid's My Way, it was too personal in the end. If you saw the movie, ud notice Gary Oldman left the last verse out too.
