  • hey Curtis this is just a recommendation, dont take it personal or anything, but i think most of your lead parts on the guitar like in this song would sound better an octave lower, sometimes there a little to high for me

  • @someguitardude yea I agree with you. I didnt really feel comfortable posting this because it seemed like the lead guitar just didnt fit. an octave lower would have definitely worked out more. maybe even having a third guitar playing octaves too. once I get a new snare drum head I think I will record it again! lol thanks!

  • Amazing!

  • try to put some letter!!!! the song is pretty!

  • thats exactly what i was thinking but it sounds really good anyways

  • the whole intro sounds like you put "Canon in D" and "Let it Be" together

  • haha i know! i wrote this song a few months ago. then i played it for my friend and he pointed that out a few weeks ago. i was pretty mad. the first 3 chords of the song are the same exact chords as "let it be"

    thanks!

  • @curtisdabassist Yep, I just clicked on this and thought wait, Let it Be plus Canon in D! but that's just the way music is dude. I was improving a song on the piano and after like 5 minutes I thought wait, that sounds like Samba Pa Ti and got pissed off at myself too. Chord progressions are what they are and sometimes there's just no getting around them being the same as another song at times. I think your song is pretty sick, nice cymbal too!

  • thanks!

and i know! it was definitely worth the 200 bucks!

  • sounds really good man! but what was wrong with the other version?

  • thanks man! i dont think there was anything wrong with it. i just thought it would sound so much better in higher quality and the use of my new ride cymbal.

  • Very good!

Were you able to dub the drums over the original? Great job on that!

  • thanks!

    and yea pretty much.

  • awesome :)

  • haha thanks!

  • It sounds great Curtis!

  • thanks!

  • good song but u need to do something about that guitar distortion man, it doesnt seem to go with the rest of the instruments

  • thanks! and i agree with you. i just thought about it and maybe it would have sounded better if i lowered distortion and maybe added some reverb.

  • thanks!

  • thanks man!

  • Sounding ggod, my friend. 5/5

    Bear

  • lol thank you!
