@ArronAdams1990 Il give you my idea of em mate. This headset does not have verry mutch bass in them, witch I think makes them exelent dj headphones, beacuse that makes it more easy to listen to the beats, and hear if they are going out of beat. Some headphones, has way too mutch bass in them, and at high volum, they screw up the sound, and makes it impossible to notice if you are falling out of beat. However, the headset is not verry comfortable, the ears feel a litle numb after some hours

Pioneer SE-DJ 5000 (headphones) ---- are they good for djing ???

@marxms13 I like them allot, the bass is crisp, and not too deep, and the higher tones are really clear. it makes it easy to determen if you are a litle out of beat, but they are not as comfortable as many other headsets, and if u want to use them for music production, they arent really well fit for that eater. But they make it really easy to listen to the beats, since the bass doesnt overcome the other sounds

People says, that DN5500 has some problems, is it true? How is yours? Cause I wanna buy it maybe.

I have no problems with it. I belive that the people having trouble with uses external harddrives / USB sticks, that are somehow damaged. But ive also hear of things that can only be due to manufacture mishaps, but if u get a player that doesnt work properly, u just send it back to get a new one ofc :)

I orderd 2 of the 5500s and when they came in they had alot of problems. but wen i updated the firmware everything was perfect.. i hook it up to virtual dj and the other player i use a external hd and it works flawlessly!

Bangin! Good song choice. Audio quality is fine here. 2nd track was ok by me. You're doing great. I'm gonna try this mix myself. I've got a CDJ-400 & a DNS1200 but don't care for the DNS. Has to be level & is particular with MP3's. Will just lock up & have to be rebooted. Does this one do any of that? GOOD JOB!

wait, you're only using one deck? I know the Denon is capable of doeing so, but does it work easily?

the DNHS 5500 has two decks inbuilt, I can swap between the two decks by pressing a button in the top left corner of the unit. witch ables me to mix off 1 deck. Its really easy once u understand it properly

is that not a bit of a pain in the ass sometimes though cos sometimes you could use some kind of effect what not on your dns ( sorry, i have 400's not sure if this dns has effects) thats playing track one but you also have to cue in track 2 at the same time, so you cant really do that?

well, I have many ways of adding effeckts to one channel, I can do it from the mixer with the mixer effeckts, or I can assign the EFX 1000 to only effeckt the given channel. So I rarely use the effecks on the dnhs5500 too mutch, but I do use it once in this mix at 04:42. But the unit didnt mesure the BPM precise enpough, so u hear the echo goes a bit off beat =/

That's the kind of thing I'd agree on. What I always to here is try to see how I can improve the way other djs mix. I can't think of anything here...
