I am 13 years old and just started scrapbooking. I was just wondering if you could use small hair dryer instead of a heat gun. Are they the same thing and will the your project turn out the same? Thanks!
...I tried embossing on acetate but it curls up and I can't flatten it :( ...any suggestions? Is it a special kind of acetate or something? Please answer thank-you..
@Isaley87 When you heat set, make sure you keep the heat gun moving and don't hold it too close to the acetate otherwise it will curl and melt. I use the 3M transparencies.
Love your video..Can you please help me? I'm having a hard time heating the acetate without it melting/curling on me..I don't know what I'm doing wrong..I'm not to close nor am I holding it in one place for too long..Any Ideas? I purchased the Acetate from Benfranklin Crafts.. Please help..
Great technique....love the alcohol inks on top of the embossed damask image! Very very Cool! The book you did for your husband looks pretty cool too! Thanks for taking time to show us how to do this!
I really like the effect of the metalic alcohol inks on acetate. It's quite easy to put things together with all of the Tim Holtz's products, that's what they are designed to do.
It turned out nice. I love grunge !!! TFS
