Medha was lucky to study under Anita when the school was very small and every student got individual attention. My daughter was learning there for 4 years and was still in the adavus class, nobody corrected her (40 children in 1 class!), has not learnt any item. We just had to find a better guru.
OMG!!! she's very good. i can tell that she a good dancer just teh first minutes i put my eyes on her. her arms are so dif from regular human arm. very flexible. i know because i used to be a dancer. we had to train very hard on our arms and balance. she is very gooooood !
The true magic of bharatanatyam comes when the dance movements are coordinated with the musical beats as precisely as possible. If there is even a slight discoordination, then the effect just doesn't come.
hey, there isnt really a reason for me to post this here, but, does anyone know what culture this dance is from? obviously an indian one, but which of the sub cultures? malu kalu guju, that type of thing
i'm sure your age is no more than 14 or 15. i have to admit that u r doing it brilliantly. i do barathnatyam aswell so i know how hard it is. facial expression stands out boldly. keep it up. u r such a talented dancer.
This is a beautiful video. I'm sure if clearer you would see the intricate detail of her facial jewelry and her facial expression. I can see her expression just fine actually. Nice job!
OMG, this is one of the two things that I wish I magically knew how to do, her dancing is so... I don't have the words for it. And to make it even better I could actually make out the story that her dancing was telling even though I've never seen indian dancing before. Thanks for having this on here.
