It looks at long last that we might get a resumption of the Kelly inquest. Norman Baker explained exactly why the Hutton enquiry failed to match the criteria used by a coroner's inquest. The Hutton business was one of the most disgraceful episodes in recent legal history in the UK. Although I have no doubt whatsoever that Kelly was murdered an inquest jury could bring in an open verdict, suicide would have to be proved beyond reasonable doubt. With Hutton it clearly wasn't.
