This movie seems to play fast and loose with the truth. Just google any of the "facts" that they give about horus, or the majority of their other deities. Many of these ideas have been investigated for more than a century by archelogists, historians and textual annalysts who have said very little that supports what this film is saying.

@kingdavid246 ALSO, in regards to his death and resurrection, he wasn't crucified, true, but no where in the Bible does it say that Jesus was literally crucified (although it was quite common in those times). However, Krishna was mortally wounded by a hunter who mistook him for game. A passing deer saw his lifeless body, laid down next to him, and gave Krishna life again by giving him his life-spirit. The deer died. I'm not religious or anything, but I thought I'd just put that out there.

Many Priests themselves have said that they actually have no idea when Jesus was born, it was just a random date, probably just because it's quoted in to many other histories of the world. You can find one prominent Vatican Priest or Bishop or whatever they're called, who clearly and openly says that. He was interviewed in Religulous. Don't remember his name.

Thus, the historical claims on the list of Gods parallel to Jesus aren't entirely true as well. Though i am not a christian, i know for a fact Horus isn't the God of the Sun in egypt but Ra. But then again, there are many more logical arguments which disprove Christianity's legibility, such as the M theory (String Theory), which can be proven mathematically.

Altogether, they form the trinity: Osiris, the father, Horus, the son, and Ra, the holy spirit.

The engineers of the WTC have already shown mathematical evidence that a plane wouldn't collapse the WTC in free fall speed. Gnostics were written about 150 Ad and they coppied synoptic gospels plus added some of gnostic philosophy like dualism and stuff. I'm with MrTaslll3, forget about part 1. Although part 1 debunks all religions, admittedly with the focus on christainity, the purpose of it is to show how organised religions were used as a tool by the ruling elite / government / roman senate to control the growing population. The population at that time didn't know as much as we do today about the natural world and universe, so religion would be accepted by all and more easily control the population. This movie seems to play fast and loose with the truth. Just google any of the "facts" that they give about horus, or the majority of their other deities. Many of these ideas have been investigated for more than a century by archelogists, historians and textual annalysts who have said very little that supports what this film is saying.

First - I enjoyed the first part about religion.I am a firm believer in god, and pray everyday. Although raised catholic,i firmly would not buy into any and all organized religions or what they want to sell me,since all religions are nothing more then a politically run business.I do however also believe that religion was created to extend a moral road map to the masses,which is more good then bad.

Any IRS agent or Tax Attorney will tell you that technically, in black and white, that income tax is illegal. Again, that's from a technical stand point. If we stay technical, the United States is still considered a British subject. When the Federal Reserve was founded, they sold shares to member banks. @Jcm9991 Yes i totally agree , yet in all copying of the age , an age where tales were told , each person retelling or rewritten scrolls would add a piece of there self to the writing , i have been guilty of it myself during a calligraphy contest where i added two words to affirm and strengthen an already written statement , i lost mind you for not a straight copy but was told i would have won. But the statement in what ever bare bones would have been there ,

I did not like the beginning speech,yes religions have been for time under manipulation as have we all by government and the darker aspects between physical and spiritual,but were never put there by them.And There Is a God eternal being of which we are all part.This video like all religions has again fought for its division its right,when there is no right but the respect of the spiritual messages of peace,harmony,and the truth of ones self with regards the eternal being.My truth will not change
