Saw her live in Dublin and she was sick, drinking hot drinks in between songs and she still sounded incredible. Best performer I've ever seen, isn't a 1 trick pony and is incredibly lively too when she did an encore covering some rolling stones classics. The 2 people who dislike this clearly had lobotomies!

Back in 88 I played lead guitar in an industrial, heavy metal band and I even had a fast car (68 GTO convertable), yet for some reason this song and the whole album consumed me. Or maybe I consumed it. It was so out of my element yet somehow it carved its way into my other world. I have since collected every Tracy Chapman album and I love them all. I have even managed to turn on some of my industrial metal counterparts to her works.
