It sound great!!! I wish you had at leas 30 seconds of each part. The pace it's a little too hyper for me. Also because I'm studying Classical I like to watch the fingerings and general technic.
I think is stupid and unfair, like you do, talk bad about foreigners in italians forums, but in those internationals you are not able to say the same ethier for italians or foreigners... why do you behave like this? Answer, but clear!
Excellent playing, although it's almost all way up high on the bass...did you use a high C string? It looked that way. Very close intonation. I play fretless electric professionally.
just like most pianists!! they hardly realize they're accompanying.. they even may tell you how to play or sing or correct something they don't know anything about!!!
Hey man, i had the pleasure to have you listen to my solo at Mr. Tambroni's school, it so cool to see you on youtube. good job man i hope to be as good as you on the double bass
exelente sonido e interpretacion, tu contrabajo es muy bonito, y tambien pequeño, acomparaciontuya, jeje pero lo reitero exelente interpreteacion de todas las piezas, kobretodo koussevitsky y eccles, bavo.
But you know it's not an Amati but surely a french liuther instrument bought by Kousevvitzky. Then Olga gave it to Gary Karr as a gift. There are scientific studies which have demostrated it.Amati or not, It's a very good instrument and in my opinion Gary Karr remains a GENIUS.
This is the Amati formerly owned by Gary Karr. I got a chance to do a recital on it in June of 2006, and it was a very interesting experience. This is a fairly challenging bass to play even though it is a small instrument. Thanks for the views, and thanks for checking out my double bass blog!

Maestro Jason,
you play very and very well, but your blog on doble bass is unique on the Web "doublebassblog" (I can't write the URL)
Thanks a lot for both things. Here I've listened to your other pieces and you play in a very nice way.
With esteem.

Amazing solo bass! The harmonics ring forever on it, and the fingerboard is extremly thick. I've played it twice.

I was able to play on this bass at the ASTA convention a few weeks ago, and I love it! The design on the tailpiece is nice, too.
