I don't remember what woods were used in this particular banjo and didn't keep any other records of it, so I'm guessing here that it's cherry by the lightness of the headstock. Differences? None I can hear. I like the grain of walnut better, but that's about it.
Hmmm... I guess I should record the SKU somewhere in my comments--that way I can always check for information!

Your Cumberland Gap sounds awesome, but I would have thought this banjo to be a perfect candidate to demo "Half Shaved".
