This is one of the better Ultimate Collector Series sets. It is very stable after it is built, unlike a lot of others that want to fall apart if you touch them or sneese to hard.

@setechnic All the sets you've shown so far......are they due to come on sale in the future? I know that the millenium falcon, star destroyer and others have, some (like this one) I haven't seen though. :(

@setechnic oh, stop it! You did not create these. I know the snowspeeder in this video is an Ultimate Collector Series set designed by Lego, just like OriganalWebs was asking about. It was on sale many years ago, so if you want one now, you have to buy one from someone willing to sell theirs at a much higher price than Lego sold it for.

After mulling over my decision for a third UCS set, I will go for this one. These appear to be more difficult to find than UCS X or Y Wings, and I like a challenge! I would definitely give 10/10 for the details in the cockpit.

Apparently, this set didn't sell quite as well because people had already drained their finances on the UCS star destroyer that preceeded it. I am still a bit puzzled why this set can actually fetch much bigger prices than the UCS X Wing.

Looks like an impressive model, I just can't believe this kit is retailing on amazon.co.uk at £3000......NO Lego kit is worth THAT much. Even the UCS Mellenium Falcon is going for £1400, which i would expect for a model of that quality, but twice that for the snowspeeder? I suppose that price would make sense if they only made 100 or so of these world-wide, but it can't be that rare surely.

@TheGuardianofAzarath Well can't you just buy/download the instructions? I think that's the idea with these. You supply the pieces (which is the hard part) and you put it together using their instructions.

@setechnic None of you are right or wrong, because their are 2 Snowspeeders, the Empirial and the Rebel, but the Rebelion dont have speeders therefore they have Airspeeders. Those are called Rebel SnowSpeeders

This model is not produced anymore. So, I don't think that you will be able to find it in a shop. :/

Try ebay or Bricklink. But you have to know that it is quite expensive...
