  • amazing song, its on when i am in a crowd. the starting piano which is also in through out the song, is it taken from somewhere?

  • I still think you should send some samples of your work to Hans Zimmer or John Williams.... Hell, I'll keep posting this to your vids until you let me know you did it... :)

  • @RosieSquall I agree, most do. But this isn't a remake and it's a good goddamn movie because it takes its time with depth in story and characters. I see how it could seem like a remake of the Swedish movie, only if it weren't also based from a book. So of course it'll look similar. But apparently I didn't make my point clear enough in the above comment I posted.

  • i have seen both versions of the movie, and i got to say david fichers movie was definately the best!

  • love it

  • This movie was so fucking awesome, I recommend it to everyone!

  • great soundtrack and great movie

  • Personally, I don't give a crap where the movie came from, I'm just enjoying the music.

  • Maybe people wouldn't think all American movies suck if we stopped making comic book movies. Many of our movies do suck these days. But when we do it right the world still rushes to see it...

  • damn this i a fucking amazing movie. seen it twice already <3

  • americans stole this from sweden! swedish movie was first, and american people always think they can do everything better.

  • @DavidSDoubleU dude they didn't steal it.. it's a different adaption of the book.

  • That's like saying people shouldn't do music covers? It's the original person's song, but its in their own eyes. Making a movie into a book is the same too. It's the same story through on through, but it's through the creators own interpretation with differences. They both made it their own and David Fincher is reknown for making his movies well known and cared for. I think he did a fabulous job.

  • Just seen the movie 1 hour ago Great movie , great intro , nice music and a good performance from Craig and Rooney Mara. This is much much better than the Millenium version

  • Please tell me you do not know how to make Song that goes when Mikaela Martin torture? thank you

  • you know what, you're right.doesn't matter that these are only small touches, and storyline is still from A to B unchanged. God forbid if Fincher chose to make something original like Seven or the Game, that way we wouldn't see his "own" Dragon Tatoo movie.

  • I liked the movie a lot. I never saw the swedish movie nor have I read the books but my wife has and she liked the US interpretation more than the swedish version.

  • buenisima cancion

  • quality song, quality film

  • this makes me feel badass

  • WUNDERBAR, wirklich wundebar, ich hoffe das dieser film ist ebenso gut ist wie der andere.

  • I dont quite understand. Awesome track but... was this in the movie? I really hope its in the soundtrack. I LOVED THIS MOVIE

  • Great film with great music!

  • The US interpretation was sooo much better than the Swedish. The Swedish versions were disjointed and difficult to follow if you hadn't read the books, which I have. Cannot for wait for the sequels to the US Dragon Tattoo!

  • TRENT <3

  • Can u understand this film without having seen the others?

  • @MerelMystery yes. this has no relation to the swedish films. its an adaptation of the same book that the swedish movies adapted.

  • The soundtrack was amazing, book brilliant, and this version and the Swedish film are both an homage to an incredible novel. . . probably one of the best adaptations of a book I have ever seen. . . . .

  • @legallyinsane456 I noticed that after I posted that comment. Either way, it's still incredible.

  • at around 1 50 this rocks. it fools you before that

  • Im more excited about this soundtrack then the american remake

  • Trent and Atticus have done it again.

  • @JLon09 They did not do this soundtrack.

  • @JLon09 They did not do this soundtrack.

  • @JLon09 this is fan made.

  • And again , I know why I Loveee Trent .

  • Love this song !

  • Reading the novel just got 10,000 better.

  • Another academy award ? ... Sounds to be on the run.

  • OMG, is this fan made? Are you kidding me? Why aren't you famous yet, man? Awesome!!!

  • love this

  • sounds so good

  • is it me or does Rooney Mara's faceial structure look oddly like Craigs.

  • @Inkydums hell no u on crack, he looks like a old grandpa

  • @612murderapolis Bone structure my friend, BONE structure, not their actual fleshy face.

  • @Inkydums ah i see skinny face, shes still hot tho

  • @612murderapolis I actually think, now that I look at it more the shadowing is what does it. It accents their faces in similar ways.

    and yes, she's GORGEOUS.

  • @Inkydums for me i find girls with black hair with a lil bit of hair going over her face i think its super hot. cause i saw her in other movies i was like eh she looks hotter here, like the new tron girl was smoking hot

  • @612murderapolis Yeah I don't know how I feel about Rooney Mara and her other movies.. too ...sweetsie/childish looking. I do...love Noemi Rapace though, THAT is someone I would love to meet. And yes, I have always loved Olivia Wilde, HER face structure is to die for too. (Btw I draw, the whole face structure fascination is entirely that aspects fault haha)

  • @Inkydums haha agree bro

  • I was kind of mad when I first heard of this but I'm over it and I really can't wait to see this. I hope it's a lot better than the other.

  • Brillant...

  • Loved the first movie, but give me ONE reason why I should be less exited about this one.

    Nobody?

    Exactly.

  • Trent Reznor IS God

  • I'm a huge reznor fan so I can't wait to hear the whole soundtrack!!!!!!

  • American cinema IS the best, with no doubt.

    I'm Brazilian, by the way.

  • I hate movie snobs who think all American movies suck. [2]

  • Fincher's version isn't a remake goddamnit. It's his interpretation and I'm sure it's going to be every bit as good as the Swedish version. I hate movie snobs who think all American movies suck.

You know what's going to make it a great movie?

    A. David Fincher is directing.

    B. Soundtrack - Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

    C. Daniel Craig is a good actor, as is Rooney Mara. Also with Christopher Plummer, and Stellan Skarsgård is perfectly creepy.

    D. Screenplay written by Steven Zaillian. Perfect.

  • @watchALLthethings americans make some fucking amazing movies. the only thing that could make this better is aaron sorkin. oh wait.

  • @taylorgoodman93 hahahaha, right on!

  • @watchALLthethings

I've seen both films and frankly...I don't get much the point of this remake. same set of characters, same setting, Zaillians script is pretty much the same. it seemed to me like it's just a translation for american audiences. only difference it has is Finchers polished visuals and bunch of american and british actors delivering their lines much like Peter Sellers as inspector Clouseau.

  • @mrderrickmcguinty I disagree, I think he made this movie his own. He chose bits to elaborate on and some other major parts that were in the original were cut out. The stylistic approach he went with as well as the how the characters interact (we have a much more emotional Lisbeth Salander here) is going to make this trilogy its own beast. My opinion

  • @CABdosdos Yeah, I agree with pretty much all of that. By the way, why is everyone freaking the hell out because they speak English in Sweden? I know they don't speak English predominantly, obviously, but it doesn't make it unrealistic. I don't think people had the same reaction when they made the Nazis speak English in Schindler's List, did they? Oh, come to think of it, Schindler's List. Screenplay by Steven Zaillian.

  • @watchALLthethings The greatest movies of all time are american movies. We invented cinema.

  • @TehRatch3t Humbleness is not your strength dude... and even though I disagree on the "greates movies of all times" theorie of yours... there are great american movies... for instance "El infierno" from Mexico. ;) There are also great US movies... like this here (tgwtdt)... it's awesome.

  • @felixcaspari Nope

  • @watchALLthethings so whats your current opion on the film if you seen it already?i aksed because you said going to be. in my opion it was preaty good . not as interesting as the origanal and it was kind of cheasy and finshe treading old ground also you right Skarsgård is perfectly creepy.

  • @dornravlin I thought it was really good. And for everyone saying it was basically the same, well, no shit. It's the same book the story is adapted from. Fincher's isn't a remake of the Swedish movie, it's Fincher's adaptation of it. I even remember seeing an interview with Stellan Skarsgård confirming that. Coming from a Swede.

  • @watchALLthethings Ameeen bromeo, You are sooo going to heaven. Keep on the preach. Lol.

  • Why the fuck are they remaking these movies? Are Americans too retarded to read subtitles? The Swedish versions are perfect.

  • @mothsuper it's not a movie remake. it's another adaptation of the book.

  • @elizar97

Thank you. I have high expectation for this movie because after I read the book, the swedish movie was so bad for me. Ficher is a killer and this movie gonna be wicked!

  • @merwild i know! the swedish one sucked! it went too far from the story in the 1st one & didn't connect the movies in a way that i liked, the new one better be amazing! :D

  • @merwild Swedish version was much better than this one

  • @mothsuper this isn't about 'remaking' a movie.. anyone can remake a fucking movie you idiot.. i havent seen the gay ass sweedish versions.. but this is david fincher we're talking about, something im going to watch 3 times, i admire his work. so take the sweedish version and insert it into your butthole and loosen up you uptight prick.

  • @Johnnys1700 no need to bash the swedish version; each director has/will have their own opinion and direction of the movie. I do suggest seeing them, even if it is after seeing Finch's version.

We can't really comment until the movie comes out on the 21st. I'm a fan of the Swedish films but I'm still gonna go see Finch's rendition. Looking forward to it too! I'm sure each directors take will hold a unique interpretation and quite frankly Steig Larsson's novels deserve this kind of attention.

  • When does soundtrack release?

  • A very good piece of music!

  • awesome!XD

  • Wow, this is great!

  • @NoblesseOblige320 electro? you mean industrial?

  • New bond film will be out November 2012. They're hoping that the next one after will come out rather shortly thereafter.

  • This totally captures the theme of the trilogy; dark, intense and captivating.

  • Oooscars >_>

  • @darkmonkey555 This + Reznor and Ross = Oscar.

  • it sounds really good

  • Amazing

  • omg this is epic

  • Dammit, and I was hoping for a Bond film! I read the desc and I think it would be an awesome movie. Song is great too!

  • @Agent1W mgm is currently bankrupt or something. untill someone buys them, no more bond :(

  • @zetakai13 Funny that the word 'bond' is used in the context of MGM being bankrupt. So basically, it takes a bond(loan) to get James Bond back.

  • @Agent1W zing!!

  • @zetakai13 And they always say at the end of the credits roll: "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN".

Hopefully at a reasonable rate!!! :D

  • anyone else hear a 3 Days Grace rift? (at 2:00 )

  • @ScrewTheLiving doubt it

  • @lisamaaarrie /watch?v=ts6CKH7Tovs 0:57 I'm telling you they're nearly identical.

  • m00:00re

  • So Trent Reznor touched his dick with Hans Zimmer's dick, lighting shot out, and Vitali was born. Cheers!

  • @level22productions See? This is why you don't cross the streams!

  • insane :) go go Vitaliy ! :)

  • definitely feel the Trent feel. great work again, V!

  • Bloody brilliant. Social network feel to the music.

  • i like this

  • This is freaking cool...I hope you get noticed by a a suit at a production house one day...you are very talented.

  • Aw man, this one has got that "The Social Network" feel to it.

  • You've got the gift... Don't ever let it go.

  • beginning sounds like social network with those few piano notes

  • havn't been discovered yet?
