It did'nt take that long, I'm guessing a year and a half. If you feed them well, 1-2 times a week, mostly krill they will be very healthy, check out my new vids to see how big they are now! HUGE! I traded my white one to the LFS store, and the guy said he was the biggest they he had ever seen.
was wondering what kind of powerheads and how many for a 150 tank, going to set up within a couple of days,i was thinking about getting two of the kralia 4,or would that been enough flow, and getting a eshoppe filter system, sorry for all the questions need some really good advice love your tank, its very beautiful i give u 5 * stars.awesome
2 koralia will not be enoguh, 3 koralias is barely enough, i would suggest 4, also just buy a eshopp overflow box and diy sump/refugium, u can save a lot of money, and get more volume. I recently did this, and i will be posting a new video soon showing it at work. ;)
No my puffers don't bother either. Puffers mainly like hard corals, my porcupine wanted to when i introduced my anemone, but i occupied him with food long enough for the tomato to host to the anemone, he protects it. I live 30 min. away from charleston.
It is possible to keep a maroon with certain types of clownfish, the maroon, needs to be smalle than the other species, and the tank needs to be at least 75 gallons. Maroon clownfish are fearless.
I use thre penguin bio wheel filters rated for 70 gallon. I also have recently updated to 5 koralia 4 powerheads. I have app. 50 pounds of live rock, and 50 pounds of live sand.
I use a corralife protein skimmer, and I have a 250 watt metal halide 14 K light. I like to occasionally use phosphate, and ammonia removers, and melafix is always handy. A hospital tank is very important when keeping a lot of fish, live rock, coral, etc. Truist me it will pay off in the long run! Thankyou for the comment, any other questions just ask!
