@wakerzeco LOL god damn it, didn't think about that. Hang in there, I was planning on remaking this with a full video instruction... If it's not up by next monday, leave another message. I have a lot of stuff going on in my life right now (mostly good! so don't worry!)
Help? I didn't up/downgrade my PSP but anyway the savgame of my Final Fantasy game is suddenly defect! It's still on the memory stick, but I doesn't work... the folder also doesn't have this "ULES" name anymore, but something like "_OWRITE_" and then a lot of numbers.. is there any way to fix it?
Hi, I followed all the steps up until step 3. im stuck at the part where it says "This will create a .bin of the same name on the root directory of your PSP Exit SED and go to USB mode"
I don't see any .bin files in the root of my sd card. would someone help me please!
JUST WANT TO HELP THERES MISSING STEP IN PROCESS 3. Start up SED on your PSP ...BEFORE DOING STEP 4.....step 3. Rename this .bin to match the name of your NEW saved game folder !!!!THAT MEANS REPLACE THE .BIN FILE INSIDE THE NEW SAVE GAME FOLDER!!!! like this comment to help others
The instructions itself probably has a error or its missing a step. I did everything step by step and still have Failed to load Corrupted file. The part where u say to rename the .bin on the root of your memory stick as the same name of the folder of your save file is too blunt and lacks informative detail b/c the .bin files are already named exactly as the folders. So what exactly are we suppose to name it?
In my little big planet if i try to load it , it works fine then when i go to... downloaded levels it says save data not found do i delete my data but when i check my saved data its there what it doesn't say corrupt data.
Start up SED on your PSP Find your corrupt save game data Press ^ Select the top option (press O) Select "Yes" (press O) This will create a .bin of the same name on the root directory of your PSP Exit SED and go to USB mode Rename this .bin to match the name of your NEW saved game folder
Ok so i did that, and theres no .bin on the root of my psp, what am i doing wrong?!
Everything went fine up till i came to start up SED. I started SED and this popped up flash0:/kd/chnnlsv.prx (80020148) and then some Japanese letter shows what does it mean and how do i pass this?
3.)Start up SED on your PSP Find your corrupt save game data Press ^ Select the top option (press O) Select "Yes" (press O) This will create a .bin of the same name on the root directory of your PSP Exit SED and go to USB mode Rename this .bin to match the name of your NEW saved game folder
I did this the first time, and acidentally deleted the .bin file from root.
LOL "good JOB!" anyway, It wont make another .bin in root
I had an extremely difficult following the previous instructions too and I couldn't get the problem solved despite trying for hours! With this guide, I managed to solve the problem! This re-written guide is great! Clear and concise!
Hello ! I made all that you said in your text, and SED said it was done, but my save data are always corrupted.. I don't know what to do ! please help
my psp currupts the system, every time i start playing lbp my system currupts an hour later, no data will currupt, but my settings will, what happens is i get a message in all different languages and its in a blue screen, it says "ur system has been currupted, please press O to auto repair"... Please someone help me... After the repairing part, all my setting are messed up...I bought a psp for a reason, I stop playing xbox cuz im tired of system errors like rrod...
@MrGuggy10 well umd and iso are the same thing. It's just that the UMD store the iso, which is the game. So yea you can. But it has to be the same game and the same region or else it won't work at all.
my version is 6.35 pro b3 psp 2004, pls would u help me out.
i finished dragonball shin budokai 2 but not fully, i got d save game from d net but its showing corrupted data. i downloaded and did whatever u said but i couldn't get anything properly, pppppppppppppppllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllsssssssssssssssssssssssssss
someone help me out, my email address is ramvinesh@gmail.com
Hey, I'm having a little trouble with installing FreeCheat on my PSP. My PSP 3000 runs on 5.03 Prometheus V5, and after following all the instructions given in the text file, the fc_3xx.prx option still does not show up in my Plug-In list in my Recovery Menu. If seen, please offer some minor assistance. Thank you in advance.
uhm, by the way, can I save it on my old one? and what do you mean by back it up first before doing so? and not keeping the old one? thanks super that you taught us this way. REally thank you! (((: and please explain it clearly to me my questions. thanks in advance!
AnNightray is correct, instead of SEPLUGIN, it's supposed to be SEPLUGINS (with S).
Also for games that has a solo save slot and in which, autosaves like Monster Hunter Freedom Unite 2, you just have to rename you corrupted save folder with another name which would not conflict with the default save file name (since it could not be duplicated or worse, might be overwritten). Just follow the guide and there.
err... just some correction \o.o meh searching how to install freecheat, instead using /SEPLUGIN , it's acctualy /SEPLUGINS
and in 'fixing corrupt save data' note, you must set operate mode > dump the AFTER you had started the game. when i set it to 'dump' while still at Home, it didn't works
Thank you very much. But I have a few last questions. When I save my game, do I save it on the new save data or on my old one? do I even need to keep my old one? and, When I do save, will it show the icon of the new saved data, or my old saved data (but on the new data's spot) I want to know because my game makes it easier to tell where I am on the story and game itself... please reply. I am very grateful. sorry for bad grammer.
@anonymousguy3339 You can save over your old game, which you should back up on your computer before doing so. If it works, you do not need to keep your old saved game. Once you save your new game, it will give you the correct icon in what ever slot you save it. I hope this helps you!
@syndrome9001 I have one last question. Do I have to keep the SED on my memory stick? Because the fact that most of the commands of yes and no have O and X switched now (It just bothers me.) Is it even the SED that did that? If I get it off of my psp will that problem still be there? I thank you in advance. You have been a great help to me.
O is the standard Accept button on Japanese PSP games, as opposed to the US and probably everywhere else being X. So if you're playing a Japanese game, that may be why the controls are backwards (a good example is Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.)
I don't recall SED changing the buttons around, but it may have. It's safe to remove either way. If it doesn't fix your problem, I'm not sure what to do. Try googling it?
Thanks man. You saved me. I find it funny that we are on the exact same boat since I just upgraded my cfw too to 5.50 Prome-4 and I'm using this guide cause I'm fixing my P3P file as well. A file worth a 100hrs. Thanks again dude.
@OverlordQuasar Yup, no problem. It drives me crazy when someone knows how to do something but can't make a comprehensive tutorial about it... plus, I'm not f**king waiting 6 months for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd to be released in the US, lol.
@uNoobishStyle sorry, i haven't been on in a while. the .key file is made when you save your game while Dump Mode is ENABLED on FreeCheat. It's placed on your PSP in the /FreeCheat/SaveData
Copy and paste the .key file to /PSP/Game/SED/gamekey
you have to make sure to rename it to .bin instead of .key and make sure there a NO HYPHENS - <like that
@TheSusanagi the Musical Note... the button you push to change the sound settings when you're using headphones. It's between the Screen Brightness and Select Button.
This should work with any PSP that has CFW, regardless of the model, and DOES NOT have the chance to brick, so don't worry.
There's two .txt files in the .zip. I can TRY to make an instructional video if you're having a hard time follow the instructions.
Can you reupload the link, since megaupload has been brought down by the FBI :/
