  • fucking people obsessed with the crowd. What a bunch of weirdos you are.

  • I am beginning to be more stoked on the comments people leave below rather than watching the video these days... I kind of tell myself never to read the comments but its seriously growing on me. Its like somehow a 9 year old was allowed to comment on every YouTube page EVER and start the best arguments... hell yeah for negative childish comments!

  • @rageagainsttheworld ty loves using the reverb

im pretty sure everything he does has reverb in it

  • I think I just witnessed the death of 'cool' after watching this

  • This video makes San Francisco look like the most annoying place on earth, and it is. Remind me to never go to a Ty Segall show on accident.

  • I love how someone at the beginning said, "Play You're Not Me"! Love that song!

  • Props to Patti Smith

  • awesome cover, his voice kinda reminds me of van morrison's :)

  • I never heard garage rock so good and I grew up in the heyday of it during the 60's. Great cover song and i like it better played by Ty than I do from Them. Anyway, about those wearing the scarves..........maybe it was just freaken cold that day!

  • i love ty segal but i hate these hipsters with a passion.

  • the growlers suck anyway whatever

  • @Socorro881

No one in a scarf circa 2000 and onward has ever been rad.

    Ever.

  • @monsignorwiggles

    We'll feck you n***ame****

  • @monsignorwiggles i wish i could double like your comment

  • Comment removed

  • @monsignorwiggles That's the drummer and percussionist from The Growlers. You're a chode.

  • @monsignorwiggles You know the look they exchanged means their gonna engaged in hipster anal sex after the show.

  • @monsignorwiggles Their band is cooler than yours, you fucking chach

  • @monsignorwiggles theyre like the german version of night at the rocksberry guys when that girl walks by them. "u...me...no?....ok"

  • @monsignorwiggles Relax with the labels, they can't be that bad they are at a Ty show, it's not like they are at MGMT or some other crap band. I feel bad for young creatives now. all the labels from fat lard idiots. It's usually from burnt out rockers. every rock/art genre are labeled the loser metal white suburbia kids think they are of importance. rubbish.

  • @vikingluv7 hey now, i met mgmt once, they are nice chaps and make pleasant tunes also. just different styles.

  • I'm in the seeds too

  • This song was written and most famously performed by a band called Them which featured Van Morrison on vocals then later covered by an American band called Shadows of the Knight,

  • Go kid grat song rocked hard... Bonus!

  • I can't believe anyone could find this to bad. This is wildfire sitting down.

  • im friends with his sister be nice

  • i dont think he can do anything wrong.

Kparme...tell me your not serious... lol

  • 100 years of electronic sound and we can't get this kid an undistorted microphone? I feel bad for him... : (

  • i feel sorry for the guy above this

  • why do you feel bad for me? I'm a music lover like you. I just don't understand why this talented kid gets saddled which such crummy sound.

  • when you grow up out of your little shell that your bundled up in, you'll realize it dosen't take an auto tuner to make someones voice right. only a real musician can take the worst of what they have and make something beautiful out of it

  • Why do you want this young man to remain downtrodden? I agree that he makes the best of a bad situation, but that doesn't mean he deserves the bad situation. I have a digital 48 track pro tools set up in orinda. I think it'd be great to get some midi synched up to these songs, give em a modern flair.

  • @Kparme

if you have ever listened to any of his other music you would know that his music is a throwback to 50 - 60's garage rock. It wouldnt sound right if he had a "modern" flair. The lo-fi sound is what i love about ty segall. It actually takes a bit of knowledge and talent to get that certain sound nowdays.

  • @Kparme

and i'm sure he knows alot more about music than you if you couldnt figure out that he is going for a lo-fi sound. Obvious is obvious

  • @TheCrackSpackle I don't understand. Why would he want to do a throwback to those old crummy-sounding records? I was in a garage rock band as a kid; we were called the Seeds. We had a little hit "pushin too hard" that was pretty popular in the juke halls and dance circuits around LA. But man, let me tell you, I really would have killed for some of the click tracks and midi phasers that I have now.

  • @Kparme

thats just it... You dont understand.. so please dont try to. Its not working

  • @TheCrackSpackle What don't I understand? I was once a virgin with no life like you, but then I built my studio and have recorded such bands as hoobastank and the bill rich sextet.

  • @Kparme

where do you get that i'm a virgin with no life? lol....

I just don't understand how you don't understand that some people like that sound. I really can't stand that overproduced sound. bare bones roots rock is what i like. Sorry I dont like hoobastank.

No need for name calling. Sounds like YOU need to get laid buddy.

  • @Kparme Are you serious? THE SEEDS?!

  • @cameroncameroncamero you've heard of us?

  • @Kparme lol of course. if you're serious then that fucking rules! you then have the right to criticize ty segall all you want. but first i think we need proof

  • @Kparme Wow, I LOVE The Seeds!!

  • @Kparme

    haha... thats the point.

... That distorted mic is on purpose.

  • No, he cannot.

  • but there is no bad situatio.n the song is a cover of a song from the 60's its not meant to sound modern

  • Can this man do any wrong right now?
