  • 6:40 LOL

  • His hair caught in the car wreck at 3:25 . That's an image I won't forget soon.

  • @nico629 Soul of My Suit is incredible.....i think one of the things i like most about him & the Dolls & Iggy are similar filters in that everyone loves to name drop them in some desperate attempt to play some (useless) cool card but when you really get down to it & quiz people on the facts more than most miserably fail...i think that's a testament to being a true enigma

  • a tradgic loss of a star

  • what stupid

  • All I can do is cry.... this makes me so very sad....

  • I don't believe for one fucking second he would beat up women how dare they say that.

Marc was an incredible man and extremely talented he died too young

    R.I.P Marc Bolan <3

  • @XxBOOSHGIRLxX hi i only read your comment today but i must say me too have difficult in believing Marc gave Gloria a black eye.I have studied domestic violence and know the signs.Even though i've of course never met Marc but i can tell this man doesn't have the signs at all! IF it should be true after all it must have been a onetime incident under influence of much alcohol but even that is VERY hard to believe.Just look at his eyes... no way!

    people say anything for attention.

  • @mymusic777ify I know its absolutely disgusting how people would say such awful stuff about Marc so they can get a chance to be in the limelight and of course poor Marc can't even defend himself now. :( I don't understand how people can live with themselves saying such awful things about the dead and even if it was true i agree it must of been under the influence and it must of been incredibly out of his character to do so coz Marc never came across as the sort of person to be like that.

  • It's just like every episode of Behind the Music back in the day...

    Rises to the top...

    Gets into drugs/money...

    Messes up REALLY bad

    Records sales decline

Dies (or almost dies, gets clean, finds God, remarries, and makes a huge comeback!)

    You get he idea!

  • i simply dont like his music............but had to watch this since everyone i know loves him............pretty good story, if a bit typical, like his music.

  • I cried. :( x

  • hmm, ide want a test on that kid, he dont look anything like his Dad (LOL)

  • Well, I didn't have a clue. Such an original musician.

  • LOADSA THINGS IN THERE THAT WERE WRONG - ESP' ABOUT HIM HAVING LESS HITS TOWARDS THE END - THE MAKERS NEED TO GET THEIR FUKIN FACTS STRAIGHT - STUPID BARSTARRDSS! - MARC BOLAN RIP XX

  • A star that shines twice as briight last's half as long, and you shone so very bright, like the generation your missed.

  • Sitting here in tears I just wanna belt gloria so bad

  • @TheMikesMaiden well when she said drugs didnt play a rolll ....bullsh** he should have stayed with June...she took care of him and kept him straight.... but we all f*** up... it was his destiny I suppose...Just so sad that he is gone and will be forever missed!!!!!!!!!!

  • could anyone please tell me the song's tittle that's played in the credit?

  • Just another violent, drug-addled rock star who sold his soul to Satan. If you sell your soul you have the devil to pay! Looks like the contract with the evil one didn't included airbags!

  • @chimetroope

you never listened to old trex or you are a brain dead twat

i think the latter applies to you

  • @mungobobs I might be, but I'm still alive and happy! How about you? You seem a little sad and detached old chum.

  • I think the point about his weight was so hyped here. Yes he looked a little bigger and rounder in the face, but not in the way they suggest here. From what they are saying you'd think he was morbidly obese. This was not the case.

Marc Bolan was an awesome performer and songwriter. in a time when the charts were flooded with emerging talented musicians. He could easily hold a candle to any of them. Rest assured his place is safe as being one of the greatest performers in popular music history.

  • @starryian007

    I agree with you

  • they say he TARGETED making it big in the teen scene, when he was dismayed by it, really...

  • The ending sequence, where Rolan is playing his Dads songs is just beautiful.

  • If you are involved in a car crash and your partner is killed you would be devastated and may years later you would find such an incident haunting. This Martha one here just talks about it in a matter-of-fact fashion! She ain't driving me fucking home, that is for sure!

  • This man was an absolute LEGEND and always has always will live live in our hearts 4eva xxx The fans love u 4 eava RIP beautiful boy xxxx

  • "I danced myself out of the Womb ,I dance myself into a Tomb ,Is it strange to dance so soon?" "Is it wrong to understand ,the fear that dwells inside a man?"

  • @mondoraptor Whats it like to be a loon??? ....... I liken it to a baloon!!!

  • This brought me to tears, although some statements aren't real, like nico629 pointed out, this documentarie really captivated me,part specially the part where gloria&rolan are singing along to cosmic dancer with marc on the background. I keep a little Marc in my heart :')

  • @nayen96 This doc is out on DVD i actually have it!!! I will look thru my dvd 2moz an if u wud like it i can copy it for u and send it u! I cud copy all my dvd 4 u if u like? xx

  • @BolanBarlow1 you have it? amazing! I've been looking for it all over the place but it's hard to find in Venezuela, VERY hard to find, people don't appreciate Marc's talent that much in here :( and would you really do that for me? thank you so much! Really, thank you!, I'll be waiting for your answer anxiously, xo:D

  • @nayen96 I have around 5 documentaries and i also have a special edition born to boogie, i am away from home until wednesday next week so i cannot do anyfing before then but i will copy and send them for u no problem xx

  • @BRUTUALTRUTH No he was made to be a GIRLFRIEND beater after he died!!! Wen he cud not talk for his self ..... Funi how his actual wife lived for years after this was made yet not once did she say he evre treated her badly! Before June died she had gud word only bout Marc!

  • This just brought me to tears, watching his son, hearing him talk about his Dad.

  • @rocktenniscat I no shame he never had met him wen he was older xx

  • bolan... simpy the main man.. nuff said

  • Marc was superb.

He was the true King of Pop. He formed the grooviest guitar licks on "Ride a white swan" & "Get It On". I had a huge poster of Marc on my wall in 1972...i think it came with the "Electric Warrior" LP.

  • @taildragger51 I was not born then but i have 1 on my wall in army barracks in 2010 keepin him alive xxxx

  • Marc was amazing..i miss him

  • such rubbish, choppy editing during the song towards the end (before ride a white swan). they should've done a better job of that

  • His son looks like Ben Harper

  • some people just dont get what Marc Bolan music is all about..he was way ahead of his time and ours too

  • naaah man this music is awesome just like marc bolan...

  • That's because you think the music in the "Crazy Church People" youtube video is good.

And yes, you are one of the crazies!

  • The Church music in that video is more organic and soulful, not an"affect".

  • What year was this documentary from? Thank you.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheBooshBabe Well oit was da 60 / 70 wen he dressed liked that u fool ur older family wud of dressed like that aswell do they dress like that now ????? of course not u retard!!!!

  • R.I.P Marc!

    An amazing man x I'm 15 and I love T REX x

He's one of my many idols x

  • anyone who names their kid Rolan Bolan deserves to die.

  • Great posting.Thank you. The triptych in part 3 of Marc, partner and their son is beautiful. T Rex rocks and always will.

  • the irony is that marc was afraid to drive period that's why he never learned how....in his songs there many references to cars...rolan bolan is so cute...rip 1977 marc bolan

  • y less than a mile from his house in a mini he also had a song which he sang .... the road u r driving Gloria wont tkae me home years before he met her there is many manyt more spooky fings involving his death!!!!

  • Even if she was drinking, I'm sure they'd done it before and Marc would have had no issues with it. Before the late 80s it was pretty common for people to drive home with a few drinks in them. It's just one of those unfortunate accidents.

  • @DeluxeReissue So if it was fine y keep denying it to this day? y not say YES i was but there was no fault wif it then!!!!!

  • No G, anger can disolve like all things on our plane of existence...he would never want us to feel hate or revenge...only love...there is a bit of Marc in every musical band today..

Rest Marc..we may all see you again!

    G

  • Of course she was boozing, for cissakes...obviously they did not question her concerning same..anyhow...its over....period.

rip Marc...xxxoooo Gemma and The Girls Inc.

  • Hate her, small issue!!! RIP marc

  • Respect to Roland & Gloria.

  • She felt in sleep. You are a FU**ING bastard.

  • fuck her

  • Marcs Son

  • roland bolan?

  • babies 'just plop out'

    silliness.

  • why do they thank watford fc

  • It's so cool that he got his life back together, and that Gloria and their son Rolan are good people. I was buying a new Yamaha YZ 125 when I heard of his death while inside paying for it. Some things you never forget. I can remember where I was when Jim Morrison, Jimi, John Lennon, JFK, RFK, and Martin Luther King were assassinated or O.D.'ed.

  • Siera Lyone? Thats great! hey need it! My bro went there and everyones going to Madagascar to help and S L is forgotten about...

  • Marc would be so proud of Gloria!!! Love the shot of her on the beach singing Cosmic Dancer!

Keep a little Marc in your heart,

    some Jones in your bones!

    Groove A Little baby

    with some Interstellar Soul!!!

  • ow ow ow ..little marc in my heart..still hurts SO MUCH........................hands over heart head bowed low.

  • It's too bad so many people have such hate for Gloria. I've read that she was after his money, tried to control him. Anyone who knew Marc knows that nobody could control him. Why would Gloria still be on good terms with his family if they blamed her for his death? And look what she's doing with her life now. Does that seems like a materialistic, cold person? I'm sure she feels guilty about driving the car, would'nt you?

  • he was so talented god bless this man

  • Its good to know Marc got back on top before he died. In a way it was a good thing that he died. He has become immortalised, which im sure he wanted, but not at the price of his life.

    Great guy! Great vid! :D

  • Go ask his friends and family how good it was that he died.

    Stupid.

  • xcuze me a usa fan since72 ..didnt marc stop drinking on live at the rainbow wasnt he toasting the crowd with coca cola?..i know i dont have the facts..just appreciate all im learning

  • Wow. This is intense! After all the discussion about what happened and why -

I don't understand - I've heard Marc predict his own death a couple of times - and I haven't viewed all of his interviews yet .

I don't understand? How can you escape destiny? Can you drive around It?

  • i don't think it was glorias fault but you pay for your mistakes, if you drink and drive ,don't blame anyone but yourself.

  • gloria tainted marc's music. she influenced his style to her's. His music was much better before he hooked up with her

  • STILL this music is pulling tears out of me...show some respect sorry fools!!! Gloria apparently is singing these tunes to kids in impoverished africa! man... how can you be SO low?

  • "I've never looked at him as a hero!" is he fucking alright?

  • Is your Dad a hero to you? His Dad was 'Dad' to him.

    Could you be anymore clueless?

    Ignorant fucking moron.

  • Haha!

    You are pathetic!

The first model and hero a boy has in his life is his dad, in most of the cases!

  • Your father is not an idol, his personal relationship to you is much deeper and more real. You begin by looking up to him, then rebel, and maybe even look down on him in teen years, and eventually learn to value him more deeply and more maturely in adulthood. The relationship evolves over time. It isn't hero worship.

  • so sad she must ask herself why everyday and feel horrible what a brill sexy man to loose

  • there was an investigation- but turned up nothing. I think Marc was and still is a fantastic man and singer. My favourites are Get it on, Ride a White Swan and I love to boogie. RIP Marc- your alive in all our hearts.

  • I'm a new fan and Marc is the most gorgeous and talented man I've ever seen! The way he died is making me sick. To me Gloria robbed us of Marc. Why wasn't she arrested at the time and wasn't there an investigation? Wiccansister or anybody else out there please shed some light on this."ALL MY LOVE" always for you, Marc. ps maybe they should reopen the case.

  • get over it ..i think you need to see a shrink calm your self down leave GLORIA ALONE ..LOOSER

  • I do find it hilarious that idiots like you call people " Looser", when you're incapable of spelling the word..it's LOSER...you Loser !

  • I find it funny how you trying to sound smart

but all you are is a arrogant prick, live and let live

    MARC BOLAN!! FOREVER!!

  • Live and let live you say...in that case let me type what I like and leave me alone...Comprende' ?

    Live by your own motto.

  • yeah si compredo, my motto is

    life's a bitch, fuck it!

  • @NY2CT84 Coz Wiccansister is talkin rubbish he never knew marc or Gloria!!

  • People like Bolan are born, they have the looks, the voice, the talent, the charisma etc a great loss to us all !

  • I always believed that an artist becomes more of a legend after their death! What would have been Sid Vicious without his death? Or Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain????? If he lived now, he would have probably been an old fool, trying to get into music again like Sex Pistols now do, or other bands of old men!

  • What a fucked up attitude. You want artists to die for you to preserve their glamour? You think older artists are all pathetic. . better off dead? Fucking asshole!

Bands of 'old men' have made great music. BB King, for one is still playing beautifully.

You are one shallow, pathetic asshole.

  • You are clueless!

I don't want artists to die FOR ME!!!

It's the idea that an artist reaches his spiritual peak through death! Sid Vicious was seen as the ultimate punk icon, worshiped by many punks! And punk is certainly a youth rebellion movement! So Sid will always be the ultimate punk that many youths will worship! Would Sid be a model for punk youngsters if he was an old, dirty fat man? NO!!! He will always remain a young for fans around the world!

  • Sid was a junkie who wound up murdering his girlfriend. I've seen loads of young people wearing Sid t-shirts, I've seen loads wearing Charles Manson t-shirts too, and he didn't even die. Young people can be pretty stupid. Keith Richards is a horrible looking alcoholic, a better 'model' for youth. They can see where that lifestyle leads you. You want icons to worship, you need to grow past that.

  • I wasn't saying that Sid is a good or bad example! I was just talking of his symbolic value! Like others, i used to like Sid in my 14-15's! Of course most go past this when they are mature enough!

I wasn't expressing my opinion on Sid, i was just saying that his symbolic value was complete after his death!

  • People are not 'symbolic' they are human beings with friends and family, people who really love them. Fans don't love you, they aren't there to care for you when you're sick, or still love you whether you're old and fat or whatever. Fan worship isn't real love, it's conditional love. Your attitude that it's nice when they die young because then they can be like Saints is really selfish. Sid's 'value' is in t-shirt sales. I wonder if his Mom gets any of the money even. Poor woman, that's her baby

  • And you are narrow-minded thinking at this low level!

He may be a human being! But after all a symbol has more significance and power than flesh and bones, and can defy time itself!

But of course, you are too busy thinking about Sid's mom, a stupid junkie that learned poor Sid how to do drugs in his teens!

  • Listen you stupid fucking asshole kid. How many musicians and even non-musicians were inspired by rock stars to take drugs and ruin their lives and even die? Of all the iconic rock stars, there are countless also-rans who may have been very talented, even friends with the icons who also died. No one remembers them. . .except their friends and family. If you revere Cobain so much, go ahead and blow your head off. I knew Courtney, she's a twat. Go marry her. Maybe she'll inspire you to suicide.

  • You are helpless....you missed the point completely, probably because you are very stupid....i mean not probably..i'm sure about it...

i hate kurt cobain but that's not the point!

Go fuck your mom i have nothing more to say to you....it was so foolish of me to start quarreling with a no-namer on the internet...

  • You have nothing More to say because you had nothing of value to say in the first place, and you've now proved it with your childish playground taunts. I have no opinion of Kurt, never met him, but I'm certainly sorry I met Courtney. You were the one who brought up Sid, not me. All I know is he wasted his life, and now he's a t-shirt icon. If you were a friend or family member of Marc's you'd hate those who held the perspective on his death that it was good because it 'immortalized' him.

  • And by the way, it didn't really 'immortalize' him that much. He's no Hendrix. He had one world-wide hit. Some (like me) in the US bought all his records and know all his songs, but in general he's a British star only. Anyway, this stupid notion you have of it being good that musicians die to become public icons doesn't take their humanity into account, or the feelings of their loved ones. And that is because you are a stupid kid who sucks shit, so go fuck Yourself.

  • @sSurrenderDorothy He has outlved Hendrix already in England u fool

  • I think you meant to say hopeless instead of helpless. But you are the one who's clearly hopeless and stupid and missing the point. Have you ever actually met any real famous musicians? You're exactly the kind of fan that makes them sick. Nobody wants to be a dead icon, and nobody's folks want it either. Dorothy nailed it. You're a fucking asswipe fuckface.

  • Maybe folks at home didn't want their relatives to die in the Battles of Waterloo or Stalingrad, but this battles helped forge and change the world!

How many soldiers died for you and your stupid generation asshole? You are the one who's completely missing the point, thinking low-level but never getting a view on a large scale!

And yeah, i wanted to say hopeless, but I am not a native English speaker, so sorry!

  • So now you're comparing rock stars killing themselves with drugs or dying in drunken car wrecks to warfare?

Marc had to die to change the world?

You really are the fucktard of the century you clueless twerp. And by the way, you've no idea how many people in my family died on foreign shores, so go fuck yourself to death asswipe.

  • Hahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahaha!

Your stupidity is funny as hell!

Yes....death is necessary in order to change the world......not only in warfare but in many domains!

  • You must see the movie V for Vendetta...it deals with the same things....

And the ending line is genius: "Nobody will ever forget that night, and what it meant for the country, but i'll never forget the man, and what he meant for me!"

You see, at a low scale, a man is only a man, but at a bigger scale, a man can be a symbol! And a symbol is far more powerful than a man!

  • If you think Death is so attractive why don't you go to my channel and listen to my song 'Suicide Children'. i wrote it, sang it and played all the guitar parts. My favorite sister died in a car wreck on my 12th birthday. my Step Dad died in my arms 7 years ago, and my beloved ex-girlfriend died of ovarian cancer a year ago, and her mom, whom I loved died just a few months ago. I've seen death. Have you?

  • I didn't say death is attractive.....................you are not listening to me

  • I'm sorry for your losses, i haven't seen too much death

  • One of my High School friends and former band mates drank himself to death 3 years ago. He was a songwriter who never had any success, but loved music. He recorded lots of songs with his band years ago. We were in 3 bands together. I went to see him in the hospital, but he was already in a coma. I taped a guitar pick top his thumb, kissed him on the forehead and said goodbye. Later, his friends and I divided up his albums and guitars as his Mom asked us to.

  • @ironbuttermilk He made his choice he drank himself 2 death! I am a soldier an have no sympathy this is cold i no but also very fair!! No body cares for the British Soldier who die 4 their country so fuk da ppl who brought it on themself!!!

  • I've hung out and jammed with Black Flag, Counting Crows and Green Day, to name a few. These are just people. If you'd met rock stars and held someone you loved while they died you'd feel differently about idol worship and death i think. People make a great big deal about famous people, but they are really only people, no different than you really. Blood and bones, not Gods. Sure, they're talented, but mostly Lucky. There's thousands just as talented without being as 'lucky'.

  • Yes, they may be only normal people for those who met them, but for the crowds that listen to their music they are more, even though they are not gods!

  • That is merely an effect of Artistic Distance. You put someone on a big stage with lots of lights and a big crowd and suddenly you have an 'event', a big 'shared experience'. You put a song on the radio and people hear it during a certain segment of theri lives and it grows in significance. But it's important to realize that that is a manipulation, an effect of context and added drama. You see a painting at a yard sale. Totally different experience on a wall in a Gallery in lovely lighting.

  • See beyond the hype and the built up 'Historical Significance' (which record companies are eager to foster) and you see the music's 'intrinsic' value. Lots of artists could make great albums if they had the money, but would they be 'seen' as great without the hype and media attention. It's exposure which creates demand which creates public attachment and 'cultural' value. Really, they're just songs. We make them valuable to us by association.

  • @ironbuttermilk Listen to many a Marc friend who tell u he made it famous whilst owning 1 single pair of holey jeans and nothing else

  • @ironbuttermilk I have held friend whilst dying during the war in Iraq and Afghan i have held at least 7 and i am a 23 yr old female thinking that my friends deserve more recconision than GREEN DAY an d them othe (I DNT NO WHO THEY R) artists!!!! but Marc is way more special an wil live way after the wars av ended xxxx RIP THE FALLEN HEROS XXXXXX

  • @BolanBarlow1 In 100 years nobody will remember Green Day either. Fame is only slightly less temporal than our own lives, often farrrr more so. Every single wildly famous star of today will be forgotten, even if their fame lasts a hundred or more years, as I believe the Beatles will, I doubt any but a handful will be remembered as long as Mozart or Bach, and even they have been gone less than 300 years each.

  • @ironbuttermilk Ur a very unlucky man hope life gets better 4 ux

  • @BolanBarlow1 I do Not consider myself unlucky. Though I have lost many loved-ones, and my life didn't turn out as I wished it, I enjoy each day. I don't complain. Life is Good!

  • I also think that it doesn't matter in the long run anyway. Oscar Wilde lived to be fat and unattractive, but the most popular pictures of him are by Sarony when he was about 28. Posters and t-shirts of the Beatles sell like crazy even though 2 of them lived to be old. Brilliant musicians become iconic even if they Don't die. Fan worship isn't worth dying for. Your 'icons' would hate you for your attitude. If you ever met a famous artist you'd soon find that out. They're only people, not Gods.

  • Yes! David Gilmour still lives and i am happy that he does, but the music of Pink Floyd, at least in their prog years, didn't carry this message! Same with The Beatles!

Many psychedelic "stars" died (Jim Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin etc etc etc) but their music had a lot to deal with drugs and hedonism and other things that brought them their death! With punk as well!

Not many classical composers died in their 20's because classical music has nothing to do with popular music philosophies!

  • What the hell do you mean by 'philosophies'? A drug overdose is not philosophical. Mozart died at 35. Nobody's sure what from. Mussorgsky died from alcoholism by 42. Lennon used heroin, but didn't overdose. These stars you mention. Their music wasn't 'about' the things that killed them, their lifestyle and bad choices contributed to their deaths. I'm afraid you're just some young kid who doesn't know much. Brian Jones was drowned. Keith Relf was electrocuted.

  • Your seem one of great stupidity!

A big percent of psych music is actually ABOUT drugs! And, for the record, music and genres have a lot to do with philosophies! A drug overdose isn't philosophical, but the lifestyle that brought the artists to the point of injecting overdosed drugs has a lot to do with life philosophy!

I am afraid i have listened to more music you will ever hear in your entire life dyke, so keep your narrow-minded opinions for yourself!

  • It's not Philosophy that leads most musicians to drug use. If you'd met any famous musicians you'd realize that. The Beatles didn't Take LSD at first, it was given to them without their knowledge. Dylan gave them pot. John and George pressured Paul to take acid. Peer pressure, acceptance by others, boredom and pressures from touring. Mozart likely lowered his immune system through partying btw. My point was that decadence and fast living did originate with rock stars.

  • And for the record, Mozart may have died in unknown circumstances, but he didn't die out of drug overdose idiot!

  • @Thomaspwgy I do actually feel that 4 Marc if he hD NOT GONE WEN HE DID WUD HE B SUCH AN ICON??? i SAY THIS AS A FAN WHO ALSO SAY I CUD NOT EVEN NAME 1 SINGLE SONG FROM ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTION SO YES I FEEL MARC MAY av lived on as the other u write bout certainly never xx

  • funnily enough, i was photographing the fratellis at liverpool the other day and the only reason i stayed was because the singer reminded me of marc

  • Marc was a loss to us all. Thirty years ago drinking and driving was not the offence moral or criminal it is today. Met Gloria last year & she was lovely.

  • did he call her 'Glo-Girl'? (3.15).

  • @marielloyd GLO GLO

  • I for one never blamed Gloria they were both drinking and they both made to decission to take the mini home. I know the spot of the crash its deadly.

  • A 30 year old grudge is a heavy burden to bear. I hope you can let it go. Best wishes to you Wiccansister54, and may peace be with you.

  • I do however have a trusted friend that I have had to confine in because the burden has become too heavy to bear alone. Drinking and then driving is something I would never consider because I never wanted to risk the lives of others. That is plain stupid. She cost his fans 30 years of grief. I lost my best friend and I still think she should own up to the issue and we will all put it bed.

  • She was tested for alcohol and tested over the limit. Furthermore, at the coroners inquest - she was going to be charged with vehicular manslaughter. She fled the country. I went to the inquest - I heard this with my own ears. As for what Marc would think about the debate of the "woman he loved" it isn't for me to say because I had been told things by MARC that I had promised not to say.

  • @Wiccansister54 BULL SHIT!!!! REALLY NEVA HEARD SO MUCH SHIT IN MY LIFE I HAVE SEEN WITH MY OWN EYES HIS CASE FILE AND DEATH CERT NOT BEACAUSE I KNEW HIM BUT COZ I GET ACCESS IN MY JOB >>>>> 1 WORD 4 U LIAR, LIAR, LIAR

  • I miss Marc so much. watching this made me realize that all involved are suffering in some way, even Gloria. If Marc could only hear the way his fans are talking about the woman he loved and his son. His death was not planned. It was two people making a bad choice to get into a car after drinking. Marc chose to get in on his own. Its sad but true.We all make dumb choices. Some with great consequences. Love ya Marc!!

  • I was so sad I saw it on the news and I am sorry but I am angry she was never tested for alcohol ... I believe she was his down fall ... ok don't hate me please it's just my opinion ... sorry if you dont' like it .. i love this and it's sad and thank you so much for posting it xoxoxoxoxox

  • oh my god thats so sad!!.. that man was a absolute legdend, i was definatly born to the wrong generation.. how i wish i had been around ta see the full impact of t-rextasy!! xx

  • I remember well the news of the death of Marc Bolam. I was crazy about T - Rex as a young man. But it was barely a month after the death of the most famous singing star that has yet lived. And in that, it - even now, - seems to pale into insignificance. No disrespect ! Marc was a great entertainer.

  • Oh Rolan, bless you. You could not be your father, Marc. He is totally irreplaceable.

  • Gloria. Marc is not here to comment (thanks to you). BTW do Marc's family, Gloria and Rolan distance themselves from 'the tree' for some reason?

  • Gagia still lives in her denial world, she thinks she can sing. And you are too right about Rolan doesn't have his dad's good looks or talent. I still want to hear the truth. The coroner didn't blame the size of the car for the accident GLORIA!! I was there.

  • Hi there Wiccansister. I can't beieve that Gloria does hold herself (just a little bit) responsible for Marc's death. Gloria cannot sing. Witnessed her at Shepherds Bush. Don't anyone say it's because she's old. Look at Ella, Frank, etc.

  • Hi Kido! If her being old was a factor, do you think she was old all her life. HAHA. She sounds like my cat when someone steps on her tail. I just wish I was a mouse in the car that night. I don't think the whole truth will be known because a certain somebody (Gagia) won't "fess up". I spoke to Marc that day...and I made a promise.

  • No need to be nasty and cruel. Don't you think there is enough pain over this?

  • And as for cruel or nasty. You don't know me well enough to know how much pain I have seen.

  • Hi Wiccanister54. You actually spoke to Marc that day?

  • yes, I did.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz yawn yawn

  • U ppl surely dnt buy this shit???? Her brotrher followed her route and of course if he was great mate wif Marc he wud av spoke 2 Gloria after!!!! 2 words BULL SHIT!!!!

  • I am sure she feels terrible inside. You don't know until you have been there yourself. She had a nice voice in some songs as I remember. But remember Marc chose to get in the car with her and I am sure they both drank a bit. They both made a bad choice. Very sad .

  • Where are you going on this...I knew him personally!!!!!!!!!!!!! For 7 years!

  • Sorry wiccansister54 . I am sorry for your pain. I mean it!! But I am hurt too and confused by this whole thing. So many stories I don't know what's true and what's not. I'm sure I am not alone.

  • I would tell the truth the best of my knowledge. I apologize for my banter. All this has me grinding my teeth! I know the pain his fans have felt. Although mine is deeper for reasons I don't go into. Trust me if it wasn't true, I wouldn't say a thing about her. We all burdens to bear through life...my mine had curly hair and I still grieve.

  • Really, who gives a F..K who you know and who you dont know? You obviously didnt know him that well cos you keep slagging the women he loved off. And as for saying Gloria Jones cant sing , for me that shows how little you do know. `Hey everybody i knew Marc, i knew Marc´get over yourself muppet.

  • @Wiccansister54 Sure u did!

  • Actually she had a nice voice in my opinion and Rolan is not not trying to be his dad. I think he has a unique voice of his own.he don't look like Marc , so what? I am sure Marc would think his son was handsome. You don't have to attack them because your hurt he is gone.

  • @Wiccansister54 U r mental 2 petend 2 b a family friend who knows inside detail!! Y would a coroner even care of the size of a car???? I am a crimonologist an can 100% tell u they wud neva even know the car size wen detremining cause of death

  • I LOVE Marc Bolan and today it still hurts he is gone. Even if Gloria was drinking I am sure they both were. Marc is an adult who chose to get in a car with someone who was drinking. I bet everyone on here pointing fingers has drove after drinking once or twice They both made a bad choice. Humans screw up.Enough pain, time to heal now.

  • thankyou,,,,,miss him so much x xx

  • OMG at 3:24 you can see a chunk of Marc's hair caught in the wreckage of the car. Ripped right out of his scalp. Poor, poor darling baby Marc.
