  • I imagine that 'cold' is set in your bones (figuritively speaking). :-\\ Wonder how it could work with a minimum delivery of a $200.oo fill on the propane tank? :-\\ I'm thinking you live in a rather remote area where there isn't much assistance, which doesn't work. There are programs for Heat Assistance in the Winter. Churches?

  • @notellyearight1 the minimum delivery is not a dollar amount, it's 100 gallons which these days is going for 2.78 a gallon. with taxes it would be closer to $300.00 yes, theres a heat assistance program. years ago my wife & I applied for it in a super cold January. the next June they sent us a check for $119. It's a joke. From what I've heard, local churches are about tapped out.

  • @TinFoilChefDotCom Well that just doesn't work so much getting funds post winter! Ya know it's probably very true that the churches there ARE tapped out given the economy. I'm really thinking your area is rather poor as to asisstance, at least with what I was able to check on/find out. Good thing the weather is moving towards warmer, also the first of the Month helps too.

  • @notellyearight1 Definitely the warmer weather is more than welcome! I'm hoping for an early appearance of Spring type temps.

  • I wish I had extra money to send to help you out some. Since i don't, I'm going to go through and click on all your ads. It's not much but it will give you a few more pennies to add to your jar.
