Focus on the video: This does appear to be ground-based footage of an unidentified object leaving a "hot" contrail as it passes through the atmosphere some distance above the viewer. It would be extremely helpful to know the time of day, location of the viewer and type of camera used. I also think there is a "strong" likelihood this is a failed launch of a terrestrial rocket or the re-entry of a first (booster) stage of a rocket over a downrange area of a launch facility.
