This vid is known as an "Igniter" video for a reason... ignite meaning that it is supposed to spark discussion. You don't just play the video and leave it at that. It only scratches the surface of the topic... you are supposed to lead them into a deeper discussion after playing the vid. So i believe it can be a valuable tool when used correctly. :)
Yeah, this my sound clever and may even stir some emotion, but it actually is lacking one thing, the Gospel. Yeah it hints at it here and there, but it leaves out so much and adds to it very unbiblical notions.
Man do NOT just decide one day "you know, I think I am going to become a Christian today". Not to mention this video grossly down plays sin, and God's holy anger towards sin, and leaves out what we as Christians are actually saved from, God's wrath. Jesus took the wrath we deserved.
Story is cute, but it undermines the gospel. No unbeliever would respond to this gospel presentation. This video has no explanation on God's justice, or the law and would not convert anybody. I know videos don't convert people, the Holy Spirit does, but we must use the law to reveal people's sins, and then the gospel makes sense.

we saw this in church last nite but some people laughed i didnt cause there is a meaning to this story and our church program isnt for laughing it is for worshiping and praising

Of course it's more important to understand the message therein.
