  • Benjy's debate tactic is to just make up shit in the hopes that the other people are as clueless as he is ... and he tries to cast little molecules of doubt anywhere he can. He's such an annoying little brat.

    I hate Benjy too!

  • lol i like benji. bring on the hate!

  • I'm a long-time Howard Stern fan for 13 years. I've enjoyed all of his programs and that TV show "Son of the Beach". I long to have Howard TV so I can see some of that crazy stuff Richard has. But I'm speaking on behalf of the true Howard Stern fans that this year has been torture. I know Artie has to be away since his suicide attempts, but Howard has become really aggravating as of late. "American Idol" could've been a good goof like his run for governor, but it's become a parade of egotism.

  • (cont'd)

I mean, I can understand why he hates Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres. But repeating it ad naseum means you've become obsessed with these guys. And I've read that obsession is a deadly ting.

Also, I'd wish he'd just quit on air, because his constant threats of quitting this year have become nauseating. I can relate however, because my mom, at 61, can't wait to quit her job. But what Howard's doing isn't really captivating. It's bordering self-indulgence.

  • And his Gary fights suck too. They drag that shit out for too long, and it becomes unlistenable. And I love Robin, and she's part of a 20-year legacy, but she's become a robot: she says something and laughs. Even during guest interviews. I can't argue about it, since it's their show, but I'm siding with the Stern Fan Network guys.

Now to offer help, I'd like for Howard to bring back some old bits if he wants to end his career. Case in point: the "Stuck on You" Contest with Jeff the Drunk.

  • I have the Howard TV segment downloaded. To me, it was one of the funniest and most captivating moments I've ever seen. Jef the Drunk vomits, has bizarre coughing fits, and the poor girl he's attached to was a bonafide trooper. I heard she lost weight. This was also good, because Artie seemed like he was heaven, laughing heartily and looking really happy back then.

I also think they need to have Bob Levy be a temporary replacement for Artie. I hear him on Miserable Men, and he's entertaining.

  • That's all I got to say. If I get any flames, well, tough shit. But take note that I'm not complaining. If this year is Howard's last year, he needs to truly go out with a bang than focusing on the end. And get off Jay Leno's ass. If he ignores him, along with everyone else, he'll go away.
