cjplennon is a complete asshole, really, you dont know how to play guitar right=? or you can create a better sound than the edge has been creating since the 80's? yes he has a huge pedal board and rack , but he's an amazing song writter and an amazing guitar composer, he's not hiding anything, he's showing us a whole new musical universe with his guitar in every song that he wrote or play, you need to learn more, a good guitar player its not the only one who plays so fuckin fast, think about it.

Why does edge feel he has to use so many 'pedal' effects. I personally think its to hide the fact that he really isnt that good on the guitar. Generally he plays a few chords and fiddles it with hundreds of pedals. Least talented member, defo!!

Well, what's that? U2's EGO is quite too big now it had to move on the top of the building. Another example this band always cared for the 'special effects' more than for what really matters - a real music.

Where would U2 be without all videoscreens, stages, 3d and other sf, if all we got was their repetetive music?

BTW, they don't have any fx or what on the roof on this building, and when i see them playing "magnificient" even just in video, i have the thrills.

AND if they ended to have the possibility to get such settlings on stage, it is because they already were exceptional in the beginning. try to find early 80's pictures of the band and you'll see by yourself that it has not always been like that.
