thanks for the response, what its doing just checked it out, it has a humming sound and when you press the select keys they stay depressed until the power is turned off then they will pop back out. The machine used to work perfect 20 years ago and to be honest it really didn't get used much the entire time we owned it. Thanks allot will check and try cleaning the contacts.
hello, got a question, I have a 1959 Wurlitzer 2300. What its doing is when the selection buttons are pushed nothing! I started not working but after pushing a number of buttons it would start to work. The machine is set for free play and did work fine for many years. However nothing at all when the selection buttons are pushed now. Any advice would be great. Owned the machine 20+ years. thanks Jeff
@subron6er Sounds like you need to clean / adjust your Latch, Number & Letter switches located next to the latch solenoid on the selector assembly (dash board). Do not use a file or sandpaper to clean the contacts, they are soft metal. You can use white paper and contact cleaner. Check for broken wires on the selector and using contact cleaner clean the contacts for all the buttons. Don't get any cleaner on the plastics or light. Hope this helps and good luck.
