Was reading about these forts today and the Principality of Sealand and Pirate Radio and saw the Slade reference, pretty cool clip, what hapenned? LOL. Those forts look creepy like something from Scooby Doo, I'm a sailor and scared of ghost ships (or forts)!
I know some of the boarders were armed, but no one's ever mentioned anyone actually loosing off a shot, or at least, not to me they haven't...
Unless my memory's malfunctioning very badly I'm guessing that was shot long after Radio City had vacated the place, and wouldn't it have been good if Tommy Vance actually had been on Radio City? :)

I saw this movie and as a movie it's not that good yet, as it is also the case with The Song Remains the Same, the music is great.
Look at this scene.
A song that should be on the foreground is not and it's also stopped in the middle.

It was actually Slade climbing up the ladder.
This is a true story that was incorporated into the movie, Pirate Radio broadcaster Radio City did come under fire.
