  • This trooper has chihuahua syndrome. Lmfao what a disgrace to the uniform. No brains no headaches..

  • @codystaub Most OHP's are not like that, many are actually decent cops. Not just anyone can join the OHP, a veteran bigshot would have to recommend you before you can even think about applying. Most likely this trooper was some bigshot's son so daddy got him onto the force.

  • just wait when the OHP needs an ambulance for one of there down officers guess who isnt showing up! Carmas a bitch officer.

  • Has this prick been removed from office? I'll sign any petition you bring me. Waste of time, asshole.

  • i guess some police just deserve to be shot

  • That is one out of control cop. Or is the great state of Oklahoma becoming a police state?

  • Iam a State Trooper I think im God

    Show me Some Respect Lol

a Fucking Pig is all he is

  • Too many cops are out of hand. There should be a law against cop abuse of authority. They get away with too much. They have lost the trust of the public. A cop shot and killed a family dog residing in his own home. Shot the dog in cold blood. He was shot down like a wild animal just because the cop felt that he could do it. Sick!!! The family and friends of the dog cried for days. It was very sad to watch.

  • wow i am a cop and if i was his boss well See YA. Oh yeah when Mcdonalds calls for a job reference good luck :)

  • I'm a cop and that was kind of disturbing. What possessed him to even do this? If he had a problem he could have talked to them later at their station, been there and handled it much better

  • god i want that paramedic as my ambulance capt. man of conviction

  • failure to yield? are you shitting me? "you need to yield to an emergency vehicle". they ARE an emergency vehicle you dumb fucking pig.

looks like someone couldnt cut it as a REAL cop and had to settle for HP instead. oh, thats right, it was found that he was unanimously fired from a different city's police force...where he was the police chief.

  • Here we see a hateful selfish hatemonger full of his self. He fell short of his oath as a public employee and shows disdain for the patient in the ambulance during his narcissistic behavior. He is another out of control public employee! showing off for his wife!

  • What the american public does not understand is we have no rights under any system currently in practice. Laws are put there to control your every action in life. Dont believe what past generations have told you about this country it is not a free country.Money inslaves the world wake up people. Whats normal in the world today is insane. You have no rights unless you have money and power.

  • thats just plain abuse of power

  • cops should be more like firefighters and emts, i mean they dont go out looking for fires or hurt ppl, they only come when there called. if cops did that i think would like them more.

  • i think they should have done a citizen's arrest on that pig when he slams the emt against the ambulance before he could call for backup. that would have been awesome.

  • I am a Paramedic and I have to say that the Paramedic was in the wrong here. He should NEVER have gotten out of the back of that ambulance. He was absolutely in the wrong. If my partner does something to get us pulled over while carrying a stable patient (if the patient was unstable, they would have been transporting with lights and sirens), then I let them deal with the problem so we can get on our way.

  • wow omg! that could not be one of my loved ones in that ambulance

  • what right does this cop have too do this i cant belieive anyone could be this stupid some fuckin emergency he was there for 2 fuckin seconds and that medic aint goin too jail those cops are gunna lose there badges who the fuck hired these fuckin retards

  • I hope the same thing happens to that officer one day, when he's the one lying inside an ambulance, with urgent need for medical attention.

  • @Marius070784

Eventually if this cop keeps up that sort of behavior, he will find himself inside of an ambulance, if he would have done something like that with one of my loved ones, inside of an ambulance i would have either hurt him severely or even quite possibly taken his life, depending on how angry it would have made me at the time.

Officer Martin is a joke, and with Karma one day he will get exactly what he deserves.

  • What kind of redneck bullshit was that?? I'd kill that fucker with his own service weapon..

  • There should be a re-match...take the gun and the badge from that punk cop and see if that big dude doesn't completely beat his *ss to a pulp.

  • that officer should go to jail for assualting a civil servant. that was completely uncalled for. hope is badge and service pistol were taken and he is never on a PD again

  • Man it must be a different story for cops in Oklahoma. Here if a cop pulled that shit on a medic you can guarantee his life would be a living hell for the rest of his career. Emergency personnel work alongside pretty closely here. And ER staff would also give him hell. Making him wait 4 hours to get his jail clearance through, refusing to allow him access to patients he needs testimony and/or labs from...there's all sorts of things. Cops rely heavily on EMS...burying himself alive there.

  • I don't see the problem with what the driver did, there was a car in front of him that restricted him from pulling over straight away and the cop car was right up behind and there wasnt enough space for the driver to slow down and pull over, the driver did the only thing he could do move around the car then pull over, the cop was on a power trip and just because he is the law dsnt give him the right to talk to citizens that way.

  • And while it is true that the trooper may have over reacted. Or even be wrong for some of the things he did or how he did them. You still have to consider the facts that provolked it all. You can not hold that trooper to a level of behavior then confront him with a contrary one that MAKES some action required. You can't say HE's got to be better than that> BUT WE DON"T! YOU make it an untenable condition and something WILL break loose. The trooper didn't create it, BUT HAD TO react to it.

  • @101orson101 Yes he DID create it! he created it, and he and his "Brothers in Blue" LIED on their reports in DIRECT violation of the laws they are sworn to uphold! It's plain to me that this District Attorney is upholding of these officers!

This Trooper should have been charged with assault, perjury, and reckless endangerment of the patient! He should have been charged with felonies SO HE WILL never WEAR A BADGE AGAIN!!!!!

  • @101orson101 Oh Yea! The trooper does NOT have jurisdiction over this situation! The EMTs are part of THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, and THE FIRE DEPARTMENT has jurisdictional command over ANY scene where they are called!

  • @101orson101 You are retarded!!!!!!

  • @apojo33 And WHY would I have expected anything more of you? OH? Wait. I didn't.

  • If it weren't for the dash cam that showes what actually happened the whole time some of what the emt and driver would have said might have been right and accepted. Right up until you compare what BOTH the emt and the driver said seperately WITHOUT the dashcan video released yet. The video contraverts THEIR testimony as to what factually happened. When you question the cops, BUT DON"T INTERFER. YOU better be sure you know the facts. Or you come off none the better for wear.

  • Then we come to the point where the ambulance actually does pull over. WHY there iF not earlier? THE driver KNEW he had screwed up earlier and was NOW trying to do the right thing. IF the emt had NOT hindered the cop. The cop would have vented and the ambulance would be gone. The driver didn't hinder the cop. THE emt DID. THE emt argued with the cop before he could even talk to the driver. YOU DON"T DO THAT SHIT! Twice the emt inhibits the cop. Then look at the crowd that shows up so suddenly

  • Yes the cop was authoritorian and aggressive. THEY are taught that way for a reason. YOU try standing your ground as ONE# person in a crowd of aggressive and angry people. COMMAND is your only weapon, unless you start shooting. And just look how quickly there were so many other people posturing there. From the interfering emt, to all the crowd. ALL of them were trying to intimidate the officer. ALL of them were hindering. YOU know as well as I DO WHY. YOU JUST DON'T WANT TO SAY IT.

  • On the other hand? The cop was running under emergency rules as instructed by dispatch. HIS SIREN was on and could be easily heard. Imagine what that ambulance driver would have said and how he would have felt IF THE CAR in front of HIM failed to give way, and hindered the ambulance? OR given him the finger while finally passing after having to slow to their speed. Amazing how ALL these thing can so easily be overlooked, and complain about the cop, while being the cause of the whole incident.

  • The emt in the back MAY be in control. BUT HE IS NOT THE DRIVER. THE driver has the responsability to judge safe conditions and act accordongly. HE DIDN"T. HE failed to give way even though the car in front of him did. The cop had to slow down because at the crest of the hill he couldn't see oncoming traffic to see if it was clear to pass. THE WHOLE THING could have ben avoided IF the AMBULANCE DRIVER had DONE what he has been taught to. HE created this mess. and could have avoided it.

  • Cops know that an ambulance is on a HOT run rather than just normal transport by IF the ambulance lights and siren are on and used. If only normal transport? The ambulance has to drive under the same rules anyone does. IF they don't? THey suffer the same results. The emt jumping out to confront the cop and seperating him from the driver IS hindering. THAT is an arrestable offense. Then his argueing with cop is MORE hindering. YET? HE claims he is concerned with patient getting to hospital.

  • And yes. While an ambulance DOES NOT have to have lights and siren going while going to hospital. Without the siren from ambulance. If the car in frt here it to give way? So should the ambulance have. IT IS THAT SIMPLE. As for driver gesturing? WHY would cop go after the ambulance AFTER already letting it go, IF there were no reason? The ambulance driver in his tape says cop had no siren on. Challenges cops to release dash cam vid. IT DOES show what the cop said. NOT the paramedic or the driver

  • Interesting comments. But few facts about THIs video. #1. The siren is heard miles before cop gets to ambulance. The car in frt of the ambulance gives up right of way to ambulance. The cop get's to ambulance cresting a hill. Cop HAs to slow before crest with NO visablity over it. REven AFTER car gives way for ambulance. IT never gives way to cop. IF it had? NONE of this would have happened. Medic was SO concerned with patient? WHY did he get out and delay cop talking to driver?

  • Why didn't he give them the citation at the time of the supposed infraction?. I would've been surprised to. Also you can't arrest anyone for a simple traffic infraction.

  • He has no reason to arrest him for a speeding ticket.

  • now that i watched the vid a second time i noticed the trooper makes a comment around 0:45 seconds about "watching your rearview mirror"... If youve ever driven an ambulance before then you would know that while they all have rearview mirrors as is required by law... you cant use them... because of the big box-like patient compartment. we really only have the side mirrors to go off of. what a fucking dumb-ass this cop....

  • As an EMT with the Texas Department of State Health Services, I cannot tell you how much this "state trooper" is in the wrong. Safety comes: ours, our partners, then our patients. Whoever is the medic in the back is always the one in charge. period. Plus this trooper came up behind that ambulance at the speed of light waited one second, went around the vehicle and then blew his top over nothing. I assure you his job will be tainted for the rest of his life. May his career rot from this.

  • It's videos like this that make ppl want to shoot the police. Fuckin dick he needs to get his ass kicked. Like it was that big of a deal for him

  • Fucking cop doesnt deserve that fucking badge. Im an EMT and I think that cops ass should get fired! EMS FOR LIFE!

  • im going to school to be an EMT. thats what you call a pig not an officer.

  • in this video the guy says its his wife...in the cell phone video you see him taking he says its his mom...WHY ARE THEY DIFFERENT?

  • This cop is a f&^king retard

  • Fukn Cop...

  • Was für ein Arsch ! Soll sich um wichtige Dinge kümmern der Penner !

  • yet another power trip

  • What an asshole, must have mistaken his badge for a crown.

  • Very shameful behaviour of the OHP officer. Thank God the EMTs remained professioanl.

  • stupid cop

  • The cops are the Law!. They are there to enforce the law not to violate the law. The cops can only violate the law DURING AN EMERGENCY...look it up. The cops are losing their mind!.

    Theres two types of laws.

The laws the government set forth.

And then there are personal laws the policer officer follows.

  • Those fucking pigs abuse their powers whenever they get a chance. There is nothing anyone can do about it cuz unless you have a video camera on you (most people dont), its your word against the cops. Democracy is dying. We do not deserve our freedom if we don't fucking defend our freedom.

The cops feel they are above the law. they have to follow the same laws as everyone else. Brutality will only end when they start prosecuting bad cops & holding them accountable!!.

  • the cop was wrong he came flying behind the ambulance and the ambolance had now where to pull over ... the cops is worng if the ambulance has a pt the cops should have let the guy go to take care of the pt.... on eof a few dick heads

  • OK WOW this video has brought back me into my old police work, retired now,i'm so discusted with this officer i had to look deeper into this so guess where i looked right here on youtube, there is someone else in this car,its his WIFE thats right, you can see her for a brief second he also is saying this might have been alot to do with him comming back from IRAQ..needless to say he should have not acted like this,HE WAS WRONG 100%

  • Thats a stupid fuckin ass rookie cop move,in no way he has that right,as soon as he was told there was someone in that ambulance he should have backed off right there, dush bag,i smell lawsuit by emt and person in that ambulance

  • This is why we paramedics refer to cops as little canaries.....they're so stupid...

  • Damn people are so fucking nosy!

  • here's my opinion: the trooper was way out of line. when ANY emergency personnel, whether police, EMS, fire, if you run a code 3 call (lights and sirens) you are ASKING people to give you the right of way, not demanding it. this trooper was so wrong to get pissed off like he did.

  • @deahnkou Actually, you are demanding it. It's the law.

  • @pete25901 AMEN!

  • @pete25901 Your comment doesn't make sens.

  • Almost hits that pick-up and the end..what an ass

  • What was the big deal slowed them for like 5 seconds and that cop was doing crazy speed and they had plenty of room, if it was a civilian car then I could see.

  • That is an absolute disgrace

That oficer should lose his badge for that.

My favourite part is when he goes into the back of the Ambulance and tells the patient that they will get her to hospital soon. This is after he assaults the EMT treating the patient.

Absolutely ridiculous. This officer clearly does not know that an Ambulance on blues does not have to stop for a state trooper.

  • To halo3murkinseason:

Ya you're being a great prossional by throwing racial slurs around. You're just proving everyone right how ignorant you really are OFFICER.

  • Ive learbed that cops bust people cause they have nothing better to do

  • what a bunch of bullshit, that dumb ass cop could of waited till the patient was taken to the hospital

  • what a dickless fucking piece of shit cop! he should be fired

  • Dumb ass cop... Acting like an EMT not pulling over is a big deal.... It isn't.. If they have a patient heading to the hospital...That's for damn sure...

That cop has an ego issue..

  • that cop needs 2 go to jail but they bouth did wrong they should of pulled over

  • I am an EMT and if i was in that position i would not yield he would just have to follow me to the hospital he was way out of line and if it was me my patent she would have come first

  • Fuuuuck that cop his a bitch.

  • fuck that asshole cop. Fuckin state trooper my ass.

  • I am an EMT Student and i think this guy was having a shitty day or something. as youi can CLEARLY see in the video The ALS unit did yeild but the car infront was slowing down too quickly, so they had no choice but to go around, them ALS units are heavy... but this cop is very ignorant about the priority of care to a patient. HE IS AN ASSHOLE....

  • The police officer was way outta line in this video and deserves to get suspended for 2 weeks without pay in his job

  • this punk cop hunts the ambulance down to settle some percieved disrespect? how the hell is this proffesional behavoir, this cop must've had his ass kicked everyday of his life before he joined up. what a piece of shit this is downright shameful

  • thats what happens when blacks try to be friends with the pigs.. its the black peoples fault they think they can hang oround with whites and they feel white because they have a good job untill this happens... pigs will never see you as anything else but niggers. no matter if your in the white house or a cop or an EMT your just another nigger... sell drugs better =)

  • You must be a nigger

  • your probably a nigger too arent you, and saying this just makes you look like an ignorant piece of shit, im a police officer and i would never judge a book by its cover.

  • @Halo3MurkinSeason

    You aren't a police officer.

  • then the pussy calls for back up? lol what a lame dumb bitch...like i said hope he dies...in the line of fire

  • that ems unit is no diff then this police car. i hope this cop gets shoot and his brains blown the fuck out his head. dumb power crazy fuckin cop..he better lose his dumb

  • Cops are out of control in this country. If you question them in the slightest they come unglued!

  • I hope the cops get fired.

  • I hope when that cop drops from cardiac arrest, this crews shows up to pronounce him. ASSHOLE

  • When that Cop wrecks his car responding lights & sirens to a call that does not require lights & sirens - such as the call he was responding to during this video, I hope that EMS crew is called to save his ass,

  • Bravo to the EMT's for attempting to protect their patient! Love dash cams...wish they had badge cams to uncover the rest of the lies they tell!

  • Im not really sure what happened, but the cop is upset about something. Even though the EMT should have stayed with the patient & complied with the officer commands, which would have helped defuse the situation. However that dont happen here in NYC b/c the cops here rely on EMTs should they be injured on the job. If the cop had a problem with the driver he should have waited for the medics at the hospital, and take care of bussiness. What if the patient died right there on scene, who's to blame?

  • im a EMT and why would you have your sirens on, if the patient isnt in really bad condition. I hope the cop reads my comment. Hey there MISTER COP, YOUR A STUPID ASS HOLE.

  • Comment removed

  • @ungersteven The cop was responding to a police matter, thats why his lights and sirens were on.

  • It really is a shame that this had to end like this. The trooper is being a real ass, although the medic was a bit aggressive and should have not have let his patient. With that being said, I have been driving ambulance for 15 years. High volume system. 10 + jobs a shift. Here is what happened. People often pull over for ambulances without even using the lights and siren. The amb. driver probably thought that is what the car was doing. He yeilded to the cops as soon as he noticed

  • lol i worked out in jersey as an EMT for 2 months this summer. i heard teaneck police will pull over an ambulance...true?

  • This is absolutely disgusting! I understand that the driver should have yeilded sooner the the police officer, however the cop did pull up on him quick and if you watch the ambulance had no where to go immediatley because there was a white truck already over on the side. The ambulance did let him pass after. On top of it the cop over reacted and should have let the EMT's take the PATIENT to the hospital before this was further dicussed. Can't this be done after the patient is given to the Hospit

  • that cop is so stupid

  • I hope that cop is out of a job forever!

  • Stupid pigs

  • this is ridiculous! what if the patient died because of the cops negligence?

  • @bigkyle07 law sue out the butt

  • What is a yield or something, can someone explain me.

  • K i hate cops but this time it was the ambulance drivers fault cuz even though he had a patient he didnt have his lights on so he shouldve pulled over, but the cop was a mean one and he made a big deal over it so ya

  • Im an EMT and the ambulance did not have to have its lights on while taking the patient to the hospital most of the time we dont run lights and siren when taking a patient to the hospital unless they are dying because it makes them have anxiety hearing the sireans..the cop was in the total wrong here and because of his ignorence and ego a patient did not get the care he should have its unacceptable

  • @rebeldeerassasin . Any pt who is UNSTABLE is transported ALS to the hosp lights and sirens. It has nothing to do with anxiety.

  • @rebeldeerassasin I agree with you. But how is the cop know if the ambulance is on an emergency run if there are no lights and sirens? If the cop does not know then in his eyes the ambulance should of pulled to the side and let him pass. However the cop knowing they had a patient should of said "By all mean I apologize" and let them be on their way. No, he had to come up with some excuse so he said something about them giving a finger to him which was not true.

  • @rebeldeerassasin

For real. Lights and sirens only gets you to the hospital like 2 minutes faster. The only time you should use them is when you actually need to get there 2 minutes faster. You don't code for a hangnail.

  • Officer gets fired and fined for negligence... end of story

  • Felony charges should have been brought up on the officer for doing that and not just administrative leave. He was withholding a patient that needed to get to the hospital. God forbid it was one of my loved ones back there I would have shot the officer in the head and got to the hospital.

  • WOW. Fucking Cops.

  • Such a bad example.

  • that asshole needs to pull over people that ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING BAD

  • I pray everyday that the police will target mostly rude drivers who don't have an "emergency" and thus to immediately accomodate those who really do have one.

  • hope that trooper never needs an ambulance - EVER!!!

  • @mockmanmocking i hope he does need an ambulance and that they know what he did.

  • O.H.T SCUM BAG

  • so...has this asshole state trooper been fired yet? definately has serious road rage! ambulance attendants totally in right!

  • typical OHP, county was already 97, no reason for this OHP to be running lights/siren anyway per what the Daily Oklahoma had published. We need change, these guys are idiots. That is why I will have audio/video in my own car soon to abate this assholes.

  • I agree with all the comments below.

  • Man I'm so glad my company's client won't let us arrest people for anything because after watching this, I can see how bad it would be to let one of the security guards I work with have that power.

  • To many cops are like this, This one just happen to get caught. Who was wrong? OHP dead wrong But with out the tape, the EMT would of been wrong. Things need to change badly.

  • If this is the troopers first incident, maybe some time off without pay along with some anger management classes and a turd in his personnel file.

If this isn't his first incident he should be fired.

  • The ambulance most likely had the A/C going and windows up for patient comfort. When the car in front of the ambulance began breaking quickly the drivers focus would have been on not running into it while not throwing the medic around in the back. The trooper did close quickly on a sweeping turn. It's interesting that there is no indication of the troopers speed in all that on screen info. The trooper was obviously having a bad day that adversely affected his judgment.

  • An ambulance doesn't have to have its lights and siren on to transport an emergency patient. An ambulance is not like a car, with patient care going on in the back. You can't just jam on the brakes and pull over onto any surface. The car in front obviously heard or saw the trooper coming and began to yield.

  • Sad, Very sad to see an officer act this way. He is suppose to difuse situations rather than create them. The EMT unit didn't have time to move over. I hope this officer never needs mediacl assistance. His behavior is unaccpetible and HE SHOULD NOT BE CARRYING A BADGE

  • That was a huge dick move by that officer. He probably has no business being an officer. I used to be a cop, we were always cool with EMT's, and showed them professional courtesty whenever we could. You never know when you're going to need them. Failure to yield??? He pulled over almost right away. That cop had a serious bug up his ass.

  • The officer is a disgrace to the state. He should be fired immediately. The ambulance personnel reacted exactly as they should and only got slightly out of line when the trooper continued his idiotic tirade. Fire him!

  • Paramedics took an oath to saves lives, Not put up with this worthless power trippin redneck with a badge.

If you want to get this ass clown fired please call (405) 425-2424

Ass Clown = Trooper Daniel Martin

  • how do you know thats his name i want to call but i want to make sure its the right person

  • FUCK THE POLICE & this piece of shit scumbag inbred hillbilly cocksucker calling himself a cop. Its a disgrace how he conducted himself & whats even sadder is that 80% of cops have the same attitude problem but never get caught because ppl are too scared of them & end up doing whatever they say

Someone needs to pass a law that if a cop unjustly assualts you or abuses his authority, citizens should have the right to defend themselves and kick there ass if necessary. Cops will think twice then.

  • the cop is a douchbag.

  • The trooper was totally at fault. Mr. White was calm and polite, and was only concerned with his patient. There's a time and place for authority, but the trooper was on a power trip. If he was "running hot" then why didn't he even stay at the scene he was responding to. The trooper used excessive force, and should be reprimanded accordingly.

  • I work with both police and paramedics on a daily basis. Both can be asses as clearly seen in this video. However, the patient should sue. Her care was delayed by the officer in question. Any adverse outcome from the delay or stress from this event should be taken care of in a civil court. That is the only way to get the officer to take his anger issue seriously.

  • What a total douchebag. The paramedic was very professional and polite and this POS has the nerve to say shit like "you don't talk to me like that". That dude should never ever have a badge or a gun for the rest of his life as he obviously has anger issues. He's lucky he didn't get his ass deservedly kicked. There's nothing worse than a dumbass like this with a little authority and no common sense on how to use said authority. He should be fired and completely banned from law enforcement.

  • that trooper was wrong, the minute he saw the situation, he should have let treatment continue instead of trying to play macho cop. common sense should've prevailed. Take the lady to the hospital, and then sort it out. Life in danger takes priority, Period. That was sheer stupidity!

  • Trooper are morons in every State in the USA.. What kind of law inforcement officer pulls over an ambulance with a patient in it..? I'll tell you, it's a trooper who had his cherrios shit on that morning!!

  • I'm so sick of these morons in their polyester costumes acking like the all mighty. Where was he going in such a hurry? When he gets to the scene you can see a sherifs unit already there. Cops train their whole lives to drive fast and shoot and when that oppurtunity arises, justified or not, most of them take it.I have to get to that stolen car scene right now and I don't care if your mama's sick because i'm aloud to drive fast today and if you don't yeild fast enough I will beat you son!

  • This officer needs to be tested fro steroids. He OBVIOUSLY has anger management issues.

He was WAY out of line. As soon as he was made aware of the patient in the vehicle, he should have immediately allowed it to proceed to the hospital.Let's all remember, Oklahoma is not exactly the bastion of racial progress in this country either.

If he wan teds to issue a TICKET!! (not arrest the driver) when he arrived a the hospital, that would have been an appropriate response.

  • you are forcing that EMT to abandon their patient. Someone of equal or higher medical training has to be present at all times, which I am sure the officer is not.

  • A-all emergency responding vehicles are to be in the left lane so that all traffic may yield to the right. If you are on a two lane highway, why is he flying up on the right lane forcing them into the shoulder? B-Once the matter of a patient is brought up, the officer is culpable for negligence. Anytime care is halted or prolonged to the patient, especially in a non-critical situation, that person is held responsible. C-It is just as negligent to arrest an EMT that has a patient because now

  • Well the officer did have a valid argument and a right to be pissed. The ambulance was not running the lights or siren, and the officer and been hauling some butt long before. Now, with that said, the driver of the ambulance did fail to yield. You ask "but was the officer right by blowing it out of proportion and prolonging the transport of the lady??!" the answer is no, he was not right. But I totally see where he was coming from, sorry.

  • The original punishment would have only been a ticket for failure to yield, the officer says that. But then it does escalate once the gentlemen doesn't follow instructions. Belligerence is the key factor in this trial, plain and simple.

  • Why was he hauling butt?? He pulled in to the place... then backed out?

I never could understand the reasoning behind driving 90Mph to the scene of a crash or the patty wagon flying to pick up a person in cuffs. In the case of a wreck, 9 out of 10 times all the officer does is walk around and ask questions.. does this help the situation enough to put him/her and others in harms way racing to it? Same with the patty wagon. Person is in cuffs so Code 2 is not required.

  • This is disgusting. This officer is so out of line. 5 day suspension, rubbish. I really worry about this world with people like him in a position of power. The paramedic made it clear he had a patient, the officer clearly ignores the demand that the patient needs to go to the hospital and then he'll submit to arrest. Why is the scum an officer of the law? I hope the medic receives the due compensation of forcing that officer out of a job through his suit. Disgusting.

  • This officer was way out of line. As a Law Enforcement Officer myself I am ashamed that this officer even made it past a mental eval?? Our duties are to protect and serve, I have no idea what this officer thinks his duties are but from here on out I think Welcome to Wal-Mart should fit him well. No wonder why Amercians in general do not trust their public servents. This is a disgrace to the bade and oath he took to protect and serve. People like him ruin the rest who wear the badge with pride.

  • I agree! There's something wrong with him! He should have tasered him right from the start and taken him away instead of wasting so much time, arguing with the animal!

And don't kid yourself! You're all smeared with the same stick!

  • Most people wanting this cop fired might get their wish . The heat was turned up on this case by the EMT filing a civil rights lawsuit against the trooper yesterday .

  • This Trooper is just another example of a bully with a badge. When he was informed of a patient in route to the hospital, he should have followed or escorted the ambulance to the hospital, then once the patient was in hand, conducted his business with the driver. He is a hothead, and has an attitude problem. He got out cussing, berating and threatening from step one. If that were my mother or wife in that ambulance, he may have arrested me later at the hospital for putting him on his ass.

  • I can understand why he pulled the ambulance over. But knowing there's a patient in the back, he should have followed them to the hospital, then talked to the driver after the patient was dropped off. Because I do see how that the driver was at fault and gave reason to be pulled over. But once a patient is brought up, thats a whole new ball game. I was a firefighter/EMT so I know some stuff about this. The ambulance should have yielded.

  • I agree. The ambulance wasn't running lights man, thats a tough blow to the prosecution.

  • Logically, if the trooper had been in THAT big a hurry why did he had time to run back there and spend so much time with the ambulance? I have a trooper in the family and am very supportive of them, but this trooper obviously had a chip on his shoulder and for whatever reasons, he was wrong and not only over-reacted and could have potentially put a patient in jeopardy with his actions. Suspension and mental evaluation would be minimum recommendation in my opinion.

  • Most of the posters here are clueless. I was a medic for ten years and am currently in a law enforcement job. I want to know why the ambulance was pulled over. The paramedic in the back of the ambulance acted 90% correctly. He immediately got out of the ambulance and informed the trooper his name, status and the fact he had a patient. It is not relevant the ambulance was not running code. It is normal practice to take stable patients to the ER just like this. The trooper should be suspended

  • Sorry, 2 wrongs don't make a right. If the EMT in charge just stayed in the back of the vehicle (1st wrong) and the cop had just been able to give a ticket (2nd wrong), they would've been able to continue onto the hospital in less time that it took to watch this. Transporting a patient w/o lights is not an emergency. Forget the race issue for god sakes. Remember the driver was white and that was who the officer was going to write up.

  • Did Anyone happen to notice at 25- 36 seconds that the ambulance is NOT running emergency warning devices? Wait is this an emergency or is someone using the Ambulance as a high dollar taxicab? Without Red Lights and Sirens then the Ambulance is just a car. Then the driver should have been pulled and ticketed.

  • Okay no excuse for Patrolman attitude. But did ANYONE notice at 23-35 seconds this Ambulance DID NOT HAVE Emergency Lights on? I mean COME on the Ambulance is carrying a cardiac arrest with Red Lights and Sirens?

Ergo this is just another vehicle on the road. So the paramedic is taking momma to the Hospital without Red Lights and Sirens. I am thinking someone is using the Ambulance as a free taxi system.

  • I am white and I hope that racist white cop gets FIRED.

  • This Cop is full of shit - he runs up on his ass - which is fine if he's actually going on a call you can hear his engine accelerate as he passes..THEN after he pulls them over he says he wasn't going to take any hande Gestures...OK if thats true, then why didn't you pull them over before?...If you have to turn around, go get them THEN say that - NO way..2nd.He said he wasn't going to take that "SHIT" So, he wants RESPECT but doesn't give it? And the Govt worries about reg ppl with guns?

  • "if he didn't get out of the ambulence you could have left 5 minutes ago"...

"I was going to help the county out..."

This guy is clearly a bully with a badge. Not everyone with a badge is a bully, but this guy clearly has no right to be conducting himself in law enforcement. Why isn't he fired yet?

  • This reminds me of the Texas cop that pulled over Ryan Moats in the hospital parking lot, detained Ryan for 30+ minutes, thus preventing him from saying goodbye to his dying mother-in-law. Police training should include both of these vidoes as examples of what not to do. How important was the call the trooper was responding to? He arrived at the important call at 13:56:51 and by 13:57:24 he was back on the road. Why did he assault the EMT & use so much profanity??

  • Gee the guy only told the officer at least 6 times that he had a patient in the vehicle. You really expect the officer to comprehend that after only hearing it 6 or more times? Sigh...
