I feel bad for those innocent Palestinians who are beholden to these corrupt monsters, but this is a problem only they can solve. And yes, Israel also has its monsters who take advantage of their own people, but at least their system is (barely) functional and Israelis have the right to protest, as we recently saw.

I think my main reservation on this issue is weather statehood would actually solve anything, or weather it's simply a means of acquiring political ammunition. (Israel would be seen to be attacking a sovereign state rather than a terrorist organization)
